Alex Pereira should be stripped of his LHW belt

Pereira has no intention of fighting real LHW contenders any time soon. He'd rather be humiliated by Jones at HW than fulfill his role as LHW champion. Strip him ASAP and make Ulberg vs. Jiri or Azamat for the light heavyweight title.

I think it would be a good professional standard to vacate a belt when changing divisions. That being said, we know UFC hasn’t always operated like that.

Pereira’s been a very active fighter so he would probably fight without keeping the belt out of action for very long but on the other hand Jones would probably require an obscene amount of time to prepare.
