Ulberg could easily be rebooked to fight Pereira (so could Blachowicz, but no one wants to see that fight). Maybe Nemkov pulled out of the fight with Anderson because a deal is in the works to get him to the UFC? Maybe Jon Jones? Neither of those last two are at all likely.

I'm as annoyed by religion as anyone else, but I still view it as ducking, but unlike with Merab's attempt the UFC wants this one avoided.

If there are two equally deserving candidates then by all means pick the other to fight in March but there isn't anyone else even close unless he fights Khamzat or Jones in March. Anyone else then you just wait a month and the UFC gives a small bonus for sitting out an extra month if they want to make things right.

If the source is true, then Ank is the one saying he doesn't want the fight because of Ramadan, which has nothing to do with fighting.
