I'm guessing what varies a lot in how people get turned on by this kind of material is how much of it is a reaction to something they find attractive and how much is supposition of themselves into the role of another person.

I would say as well that theres a difference between simply not being turned by bodies of a certain gender and disgust to them, the former is I'd say really your true inbuilt sexuality, the latter is much more learned behaviour and I'd imagine a lot of repressed homosexuals end up with a very strong disgust response to the bodies there actually attracted to(not that I like to throw around that claim at specific people on the net), probably one reason for homosexual mental health being worse.

Although honestly I tend to think a lot of people who develop additions to sex/porn the same as to drink or food are going caught up in a shame cycle(activity leads to shame which leads to more of an activity to counter shame) so actually pushing that message on them probably isn't helpful.
