Aleksander Emelianenko just got 4,5 years

He shoulda came to the US when he had a chance.

Could we talk about this guy in-between them? I mean he's literally inches away from Putin. With a half naked chick on his shirt and ball cap. At what looks to be a formal event

I'm just confused with the context.

That's actually Timati. lmao. He is a russian rapper.

Edit: Nvm, tons of guys already mentioned it.

Was this sexual assualt before or after he went to that orthodox monastry?

How do human beings, after being familiar with freedom, have the mentality to survive being imprisoned? One thing I've always known about myself is I would commit suicide if I were in prison. Yet, people routinely get caged and do years inside without taking the early exit. It astounds me. I don't care how tough you are; you are enslaved and caged like an animal. Who would value that enough to stay alive?

Because in 4 to 5 years he'll be out?

That and not everyone is suicidal about prison. Especially people not serving long/ life sentences.

He is a criminal defense attorney, scum of the earth! I have a hard time finding people I respect less (other than the criminals of course).

I have to admit I find myself agreeing with you. I can't respect people who knowingly defend (actual) rapists and such.

How those people can look themselves in the mirror every day is beyond my comprehension.

Could brothers be MORE different than these two...

Not really, they both love hanging out with criminals... Fedor is just more successful at it.

True. Like Tim Sylvia would've said: 60% of MMA is 90% mental.

Ah Tim Sylvia. The great mathematician. Deriving the formula which produced the pearls of wisdom that state: 54% of mma is mental.

This isn't comparable to a Jon Jones in prison. Alexander is the brother of Fedor, Fedor has the ear of Vladimir Putin.

If that meant anything, Alex wouldn't be going to prison. Heck, we wouldn't have heard about Aleks' crime. Putin controls both the courts and the media.

Also, the last thing that Aleks needs is for the rest of the prison population to know that, as well as him being a rapist, his brother is good with Putin.

6. Just to put it into perspective - search for a clip on youtube how AE talks to the Russian 'special forces', the clip is in russian but the bottom line is he is insulting the officers, threatening to take the machine gun from them

That's pretty boss.

He's the Russian scarface.

Not all situations are the same. Some are mistakes. Some are eat or starve type situations. Some are due to stupidity. And there are those that happen due to simply not being human.

The people I represent aren't even CHARGED with the "pin down and rape" type of scenario. It's not me justifying my job; it's that nobody even alleges it happened.

There are psychopaths who perform heinous capital crimes like that, yes, but it's pretty rare.

I have two sex assault cases right now. In one, the wife alleges that the husband did anal to her while she was passed out. He says it was consensual and she just reported him for rape after she told her mom about doing anal and her mom flipped out on her (who tells that to her mom?)

In the other case, I have a guy accused of sexual assault under accomplice liability because a friend of his, who was in a bedroom with a girl, hollered at him to bring him a vibrator from some other location. The defendant fetched it; the state alleges that the girl was being raped by the other guy, and the defendant knew it, thus he was an accomplice. The defendant says he had no idea any assault was taking place.

These types of cases are the most common. Then the news reports it as sexual assault and people think of the "pin down and rape" type of scenario.

Yes, there are many different types of sexual assault. Sometimes women even lie about it. With that said..

Girls getting pinned down and raped does happen though, you saying it's literally close to 0% is probably what tell yourself to justify the defence of your clients. Or you just refuse to believe that your clients lie to you.

I don't mean to personally attack you, but "real rape" happens a lot (take Africa for example where girls wear a female condom so atleast they don't get HIV when they get raped). I honestly can't understand why you would claim it hardly happens since it obviously does.

Perhaps I misunderstood but I find this statement mindboggling.. "close to 0%".

That's Russia not America. Not only can he protect himself, his brother is friends with the president. If you think anyone is touching him, think again.
