Since Conor was being such an asshole, Jose should have refused to do business with him and asked to fight Demetrius Johnson instead (a champion from a lower weight class, but a respectful guy). Maybe that's why he turned down the rematch, since Conor is an asshole and not someone he should do business with. Conor never proved anything anyway.

Jose even called Conor an asshole at the press conference right in from of Dana. That should have been enough of a reason to cancel the fight.

It's about time Jon Jones brought class back to the UFC. No more will mma fighters beat the mother of their children, hit and run after striking a pregnant woman with a car, and slamming their own heads into a cop cars hood to show anger.

Class is back in the UFC.

He's referencing Jon Jones trying to fight Alex Pereira instead of Tom Aspinall.
Yes but FW to FLW is 2 weight classes apart. Jon and Alex is only one. If you use the logic Pereira was a MW you'd have to use the logic Jon was a LHW. Still one weight class.

Didn't DJ fight Cruz for the BW title?

Yes but Flyweight wasn't a UFC weight class at the time. DJ won the inaugural FLW title 11 months later in a 4 man tournament.

DJ was a bantamweight before he was in the UFC, and the ONE FC flyweight division (that he's been fighting at for 5 years before announcing his retirement) is actually 135 not 125.

Let's not forget that Aldo has been fighting at 135 for the past few years either, smartguy.

Aldo was a FW when he fought Conor with 9 defenses if you count WEC and DJ was Flyweight champion with 5 defenses. It would have made no sense but please continue with your dumb thread.

By your "logic" DJ and Aldo are in the same weight class since 2019.

Or you could just leave since you just made an ass of yourself.

I think I've given you a bit of an education on the history of FLW and what the context surrounding an Aldo vs DJ fight would have been at the time. I'm content with that and will stop hurting your feelings.

Nah, you're probably one of those pitiful Jones nuthuggers, and that's why your jimmies got rustled. How many MMA fights did DJ have at 135 and how many has Alex had at 205?

Alex has even said recently that he's considering going back down to 185 to fight DDP.

I see what you did there TS! And I like it! Know what I don't like? JBJ refusing to do business with Aspinall because he's disrespectful.
