Media Aldo responds to Conor's callout: "He's a son of a b*tch... tell him to suck a cane field of d*cks"

Who is paying the kind of money someone like Conor would be wanting to watch these 2 box now?

I find this amusing for some reason. Aldo still triggered.

pretty sure they both said they are cool. so idk what thats about. seems off. aldo take to many shots?
also what conor said was very simple and basic
him offering to fight you in boxing is not an insult.
likely its just talk . like he says this shit and if the fight did happen its 3 years from now. so i get why some guys are getting annoyed at conor and his call outs. but still seems off of also to have such a strong reaction.

For once Conor comes out of an exchange looking like the better person. Bad look for Aldo to come off so unhinged.

Aldo might not let some things go...;)
would U
Besides only the unhinged like Twitter anyways lol

So Aldo doesn't want to get KO'd in 14 seconds again?

Long live Aldo. But living even longer is Conor in his head over that title fight.

Guessing he heard of Conors endless antics these last few years and just said screw it, I'm not even gonna pretend anymore, don't like that clown

You have a point, however given Aldos dominance it's unrealistic to say getting kod in 1 exchange is an accurate measure of his talent. We needed more to find out who the better fighter actually was and I certainly wanted a rematch even as someone who was happy Connor won.

Don't really care that much about how it played out but it was objectively unfair to Aldo.
Yeah, that's like saying Matt Serra is better than GSP and there's no need for a rematch because he knocked him out in round one.

Conor’s metered response shows that he probably thought they were cool. He almost always goes for the throat whenever anyone criticizes or mocks him, but somehow Aldo avoided it.

Yeah Aldo praised him shortly after having a go at Khabib a year or 2 ago so Connor has been on friendly terms with him. Besides, he tends to behave amicably towards people who he's beat...an air of superiority lol.

However, he's not one to let it go so after downing some whiskey and some coke don't be surprised if he fires back with a huge expletive filled rant.

I’ll watch their boxing match but they should make it 8 rounds and see who gasses first

Aldo was just on a podcast praising Conor and thanking him for making their fight so big. They have also exchanged nice words on twitter over the last couple of years.

What the hell happened here, lmao?

Ali is what happened.

I feel bad for Aldo to a degree, but it is what it is. He admitted that that whole press tour really fucked with him...imagine that on top of constantly being reminded your opponent KOed you in 13 seconds?

Nobody can actually stand Conor, not even Artem.

Now that Jose is out of the promotion where Conor had clout he's free to verbalize it.

Aldo was asked if he regretted never getting a rematch with McGregor after “Notorious” knocked him out in 13 seconds at UFC 194, to which he answered that the moment for such a fight had long passed.

“Maybe back in the day it would have been an awesome event, but not today,” Aldo said via a Portuguese translator. “People, everywhere I go now — I do have a lot of respect for him. We’re friends. We even follow each other on Instagram, we exchange dialogue there, and sometimes fans come up to me and say, ‘Do you feel like beating McGregor or something?’

“I say, ‘How can I do that? That’s the guy who gave me the most money.

“I have nothing but respect and kind of a friendship now, [I wouldn’t think of a rematch] these days.”

This is from January 2023. He retired in September 2022.

Last night's insults from Aldo are very bizarre. Even Conor was shocked and confused.
