Albums that havent aged well

Listened to Big Ones by Aerosmith for nostalgias sake. Was one of my favorite albums ( granted i was a kid) and couldn't help but feel that it would not have done well if this was released now. Discuss.

Most albums don't age well. They are reflections of the period that they were produced in. As the times change, the relevancy of the album to a modern standard diminishes. That is why albums that transcend time periods are so celebrated.

Like Black Sabbath,is fuckin timeless,but if you listen to cheesy synth heavy 80s music,sometimes you just cant even in 2016

Well being almost 30 I don't really consider myself overly "punk" nowadays since most "punks" that are in there 30's look like complete shitheads, secondly I like punk music a lot especially social distortion.
