Amazing what you can accomplish by asking ChatGPT !I think a fracture from a choke would be pretty rare, not because a fighter wouldn't be strong to do it but because of the mechanism of going unconscious.
The jugular vein is the thing that closes off first because it doesn't have any muscle in its walls (the carotid has a muscular wall). Usually the fighter loses consciousness before a fracture occurs, unless it's someone with insane Khamzat cement grip forearms and Steve Mazagatti comes out of retirement to ref the fight.
