Elections Alabama Special Senate Election Live Results Thread

Explain it for me please. Something tells me you have a very subjective view about age and sexuality

That's it, debase yourself for some wingnut childfucker. He's on your team after all.

Maybe you can even go cruising for 16 year olds to trigger the libs.

Jesus Christ. You should go back and read your posts and appreciate what your blind partisanship has done to you. You're defending a child molester.

You haven't even begun to explain why its problematic. A 16 year old is not a child.

A sophomore in High School is not a child?

So this is from the Bible, not historical texts?

Yes, that's the way it's positioned in the bible. The whole expression "wash your hands clean" comes from this story, as PP 'washes his hands clean' of the death of Jesus because he was urging the Jewish priests not to do it, but they chose not to take his advice.

Well legality plays a big role in modern society, but that argument is literally correct lol. If a woman bleeds she is capable of breeding

If you're consistent with that belief and don't criticize other cultures that marry young then it's all good.

Globalization has accompanied increases in education the world over and unprecedented decreases in poverty in many of the world 's developing nations. It has hurt elements of the working poor and middle class in rich countries because of increased participation in the labor pool, but even here it has created tons of wealth, which wrongly has not been shared. But it is difficult to deny that it has made the world economy more knowledge based and educated, especially in the developed western countries. For example, from 1970 to 2000, the proportion of jobs that were managerial, professional, and technical (requiring education) increased from 20 percent to 30 percent of the US workforce.

In addition, countries such as China and India, with their enormous populations, rapidly expanded their secondary and higher education systems. In the Cultural Revolution of the 1960s in China, there were almost no students in school. Today, nine years of basic education is almost universal. That's all been funded and motivated by globalization.

Conversely, nationalism has simply been a better tool at creating bulwarks against liberalized trade than socialism. Inward looking cultural biases support a view that outside economic interests form the other side of a zero sum game. The problem with socialism is that it preaches an international in abstract theory but to date has only able to suggest economic nationalism in practice (with the exception of soviet economic imperialism).

The GOP is dog whistling to a base for sure, but that perpetuates the problem, and you end up with Trump in the White House, so we already have the Frankenstein monster, and Brannon's ethno nationalism is at the heart of it. And it's all part of the same ploy. Poor whites would rather build cultural and economic walls than support the common sense approach of keeping markets open and taxing them to pay for things like schools, hospitals, infrastructure, etc. So the right continues on promising walls while keeping all the wealth in its pocket.

Bit of a derail sorry, but yeah fuck Bannon.
