Don't think 1 seat in the senate is worth sending someone like Moore in. The guy is a horrible human being and I'm glad he lost. The guy is already a sideshow and backwards af, can't imagine that garbage in the Senate. Hope he fades in to obscurity never to be heard from again. Props to Bama for putting decency before party, although it should have been a much bigger win for Jones.

Yeah, there was really a good case to be made that Jones winning was the best result for the GOP.

If Roy Moore wins, either (a) they have to put up with a guy who is both a genuine moron-blowhard and a phile and let it tarnish their reputability, or (b) remove him and piss off a whole lot of voters.

Now that Moore lost, they can move on with an invigorated base. And they can use this as evidence to reject future Bannon surrogates.
