I think this is a good step up in progression for Joshua

His career is being managed well, and after this, i only see Haye, Wilder, Klitschko and Fury as the guys he should be targetting

Yes, Stiverne is dangerous. Really good test for him.

I really thought he was going to fight Hughie Fury or Chisora.

I'm happy it's Stiverne, don't know if it make sense in a Risk/Reward department tho.

Is this happening? If not title needs to get cleaned up.

There was some talk about the great Kubrat Pulev being the next opponent. I think it really would be fair to talk about Joshua as the next HW GOAT if he even got in the ring with a man like Pulev.

Steverne is on the same level as Martin. He should he moving to tougher challages like Ortiz already.

Joshua will knock Stiverne out within 4 rnd....my guess is 2. Pulev would have been the better opponent but it beats Arreola

Um. . . Why Haye?. . . What title does he hold?. . .(besides he might hurt his toe or something?)

You mean THE Pulev?

I don't know about that ...seems a little too early for Joshua to get it on with the heavyweight version of Vasyl Lomachenko. If I was AJ, I would duck Da Pulev forever.

Unless AJ wants to get "Pulev'd".

i consider Haye better than Stiverne.....

he doesnt hold any sort of title, stop being an alphabet bellend

So, Wilder's best win is only on a par with AJ's blow out of Martin.. Shiiiiiiiiiite.!!

As much as I like the pulev jokes, no way Stevirne is near his level. Other than the wlad fight he never lost or tied, and his recent win over Chisora legitimizes him even more. On the other hand Bermane has drew with a journy man, was KOed by a bum, and beat one nobody after he got bronze bombed, while Pulev's on a streak.

... Meh, war AJ!

just about but Wilder is atleast trying to he is trying better fight but Provetkin was so scared he tried to cheat. AJ looking for them same lvl of fighter he already beat. time to step up now thay he is champ

Joshua Stiverne isn't a bad fight. If fury is serious about wlad then that happens first and wilder would be great but I have no idea what's going on with him and povetkin. Beat Stiverne then say who necks?

Right now, both Stiverne and Kubrat are potential opponents according to Eddie Hearn

Thats a lofty prediction. Stivernes chin is rather amazing.

Having a good chin means little in a fight you are forced into that you wont like. Stiverne wont like this fight bc he will not push Joshua on the ropes and tee off on him like everyone else he did that too and Joshua doesnt need to reset against a statue ,hes right here like a giant heavy bag.

How many shots will the much shorter Stiverne take ? Hes 250 plus but was also knocked down in his last fight and some think Rossy actually won that fight . He can supposedly punch ,i dont know bc he hasnt actually knocked anyone out he shouldn't have in a extremely watered down decade long career . Joshuas delivery system is better than Wilders and will land cleaner shots...i'll stick to my LOFTY prediction.

Rossy decked him in his last fight with a counter right. He got up okay but he's fat as a pig these days.

Pulev's dull as fuck but a big durable lump that moves quite well & has a half-decent jab presents a better challenge to a young contender IMO than a fat (possibly formerly) durable lump who doesn't like tall fighters & will only come up to Joshua's nipples.
