Social AI generated Taylor Swift Images spark outrage

I couldn’t help myself after I heard they were trying to scrub these pictures from the internet so I went and searched for them.

I found them, including a picture of Oscar the grouch banging her pronebone style in a pile of garbage bags. I mean I’m not saying that any of this is a good thing, but it is pretty funny

People hate her for some reason before ai they would just throw fits or call her mean but now they can go further.

Lmao wtf? People are getting so stupid in here. What if an amazing artist just draws hers naked 1000 times huh? Is it art or is it harassment? The shit is gross but this isn't the fappening where people real private photos were hacked. This is artist renditions. The fappening was when you all should have been crying. I don't like ai but if you're a public figure you are gonna have to deal with this shit and have always had to.
This.

If the intent isn't to defraud, I don't see a legal means to crack down on ai created content. It seems like it would be protected under artistic expression.

People seem to be freaking out just because they don't like the idea of a machine being able to do it.

You wanna laugh, be he aint wrong. Within a few years, every person thats ever been famous (or infamous) for any reason will be using the 'its AI and fake' excuse to get out of everything.

And its going to be hilarious. Because guess what? any dummy lawyer will eb able to swing up picture and videos to show that their client may have been there, but may NOT have been there. So beyond a reasonable doubt is out the window.
Not really, and if they did that would probably be a good thing.

One of the biggest blows to the justice system has been social media. When you aleady have juries made up of randos with no legal background, and tell them the theoretical burden is a subjective "reasonable doubt", but every somewhat high profile case already has months of one sided coverage and everyone forming opinions before the trial even starts.

AI is for public opinion, because you can't pull a photoshop off the internet as evidence in court. You need the source, like a security cam or who took the photo. It's probably better if the public don't know what to believe before a trial, and have to rely on admissible evidence.

Hate to tell you this, but as of right now? You cannot ever rely on security camera footage. Want to know why? Because I can 100% take a video file, and alter it top show that it was totally taken from a specific camera model at a specific time at a specific date. Give me the info, and I can even change the data to match up the specific camera via serial number. And this is a 30 minute job, tops. And this all assuming I take my time doing it.

AI alterations are going to make a mess of the legal system, and its going to be hilarious.

And you think no one could prove you did that?

Explicit, AI-generated Taylor Swift images spread quickly on social media
https://www.cnn.com/2024/01/25/tech/taylor-swift-ai-generated-images/index.html

Pornographic, AI-generated images of the world’s most famous star spread across social media this week, underscoring the damaging potential posed by mainstream artificial intelligence technology: its ability to create convincingly real and damaging images.

The fake images of Taylor Swift were predominantly circulating on social media site X, previously known as Twitter. The photos – which show the singer in sexually suggestive and explicit positions – were viewed tens of millions of times before being removed from social platforms. But nothing on the internet is truly gone forever, and they will undoubtedly continue to be shared on other, less regulated channels.

The fuck people thing would happen with the software????

This is NOTHING compared to whats coming.

And you think no one could prove you did that?
Did what? Downloaded and altered it? 100%, they could tell. I could even made it so dumb obvious that even a court appointed lawyer could see it.

But if I was really inclined to make a mess? You would never know that I changed the data to suite the needs. All with off the shelf software. All it takes is a little bit of time.

At this point, any good lawyer can destroy any chance of video evidence proving beyond a reasonable doubt. Its only going to get worse from here.

There is no way that you could alter evidence in that way and leave no evidence of your own. It's simply not possible dude. Could you get away with it? Maybe. Would it be because it is impossible to find your work? Absolutely not.

I never said you wouldnt be able to tell. But, all you need to do is give credence to the idea that shit has been altered so you cannot take it at face value. And once that drop of poison has been introduced its all down hill.

How is this any different from drawing Taylor Swift getting fucked? Should that be illegal, too?
it's the shock effect from how real they appear. people can't handle it or don't know how to handle it, not to mention that a painting is a time consuming occupation that requires skill. this on the other hand can be done by ANYONE in minutes.

it's like people from the 1920 going to the cinema, watching the train approaching on screen and running away in fear, not understanding how it works. it's scary at first. but it 100% is here to stay, no matter how much screaming there is about it.

And then YOU are the one who goes to prison. They have chain of custody. I mean you could also move a dead body and throw it in someone's trunk and splatter blood all over their garage, but you kind of get in trouble for falsifying evidence, and when they follow the chain of custody and find the original video before someone photoshopped another person in, it doesn't take long to find out who did it.

First viral deepfake video. From 2018.

Close, but the tone was wrong. his voice was off by JUST enough to tell. But there was a Morgan Freeman video I think a year ago that was terrifyingly dead on.

LOL @ scrubbing anything off the net. These pics are there forever, and Bing(the crack addict cousin of Google) will have no problem linking you to them, once the hype dies down.

Every real picture from "the fappening" are still up. And that's real privacy invasion. They don't care. These images aren't going anywhere, unless big tech starts treating them like child porn and relegates it to the deep web, which they should, but won't.

Brave new world incoming. The ones who should be the most outraged and concerned, is the porn industry. One AI image of Swift generated over 40 million views in 24 hours. Just an image. Imagine when it starts creating videos. Them porn whores are gonna be useless, once this shit truly takes off, and one doesn't have to search for shit, and merely just imagine what they want to see, and it's given to them. End of an era right there.

WTF, 9 pages and no pics or links to see said pics. I am dissapoint Sherdog, very dissapoint.

that's a good analogy actually. Because the tech is fresh it hasn't occured to people that it isn't real

in actuality it was around long before it was made public

google itself is literally an llm and was from the start
