After years of feeling insecure about his height, Dynzell Sigers underwent life-changing limb-lengthening surgery to grow half-a-foot taller.

If it makes him happy I guess. Considering it's a fairly new procedure I'd be curious to see how these cases fare in their old age.

Being short is definitely a disadvantage. The issue is that some guys don't have anything going on with them to compensate for it. They're not charismatic, not funny, not handsome in the face, not successful, etc. In those cases I can see why they get desperate and go to extreme measures.

Pretty much this. I wouldn't do it, but I'm a 5' 8" king of manlets with a Sherdog account. Anyone who thinks being a shorter dude isn't a disadvantage has never been a short dude. But as with everything, there are levels to that shit. 5' 6" or taller, just be funny and in shape and you should be good. 5' 5" or less, I still wouldn't consider it but I understand why some guys would.

Anyone that has ever had an injury or a surgery with broken bones know the pain is incredible. To do it on purpose for vanity is insane. But we see women do incredible procedures too. The Kardashians alone have done tits, asses, noses, cheeks, jaws, lips, brows, lipo, fillers, teeth, labia, eyes, eye lids, dermo, ears, stomachs, hair, buttholes, phew......

The surgeon cut the bone in half
A rod was inserted into the bone
External fixators were attached to the bone
The fixators were turned daily for 90 days to gradually lengthen the bone
Recovery:
Sigers underwent physical and occupational therapy after the surgery
Results:
Sigers said the surgery helped him become the best version of himself, mentally, spiritually, and physically
He also said the surgery helped his rap career

He's definitely no sherdogger

He is a manlet at heart wait until a 6'5" sherdogger taps this 5 inches shorter beta.

Dude fuck that surgery. Massive fucking painful recovery to fuck up your muscular/skeletal structure.

I can’t imagine being that insecure about your height.

I say as a short dude.
Speaking as a person who has broken a clavicle in recent years I can't even phantom the agony this manlet went through when you break your clavicle it has a smaller displacement than this guy had and even that was very uncomfortable for 5 months which is shorter than this guys recovery.

That's as stupid as people who have pectus excavatum, which I have, go to a doctor to break their chest bones and insert a metal rod. Than be on reddit "oh the bar pierced my lung and it collapsed". Well no shit genius, breaking your bones on purpose is not very smart. One low kick and this guy is knocked out. However I hope for him that he stays healthy. I definitely can understand the desire. I would never ever get it done or advice anyone to do that. I'm already 6 foot, if I was 5'5 I'd defintely not be breaking my bones to grow. That's gotta be seriously risky. Unhealthy too.

Chad Ochocinco said he had surgery to turn his grower from a 3 to an 11, much rather spend my loot on that
Wtf no way. I think it adds lime 1-2 inch. They just cut you inside so the inside goes more out. 3 to 11 inch sounds bs.
