After watching WrestleMania last night...

I realized how third world UFC's production is. Damn does Vince McMahon know how to put on a show. Where are the big screens? Fireworks? Grand fighter entrances? Guest announcers? Big laser show?
UFC 236 gonna be bland AF.

For God's sake just look at what Japan is doing. The ONE FC show in Tokyo this month blew the UFC away.
UFC is badly led by Dana White period. There is a feeling of negativity in that organisation these days.

Bellator has everything you're looking for so go troll in the Worldwide forums.

Please find me a list that has WrestleMania anywhere near the top 10. That list is pure Bs
Well im gonna say no its not and if you want a list go pound sand and find it yourself, till then you have this list and its right, boo hoo.

Why would I care about a guest announcer, firework, laser shows, a fighters entrance or a big screen inside the arena when I'm watching a MMA bout?

What the hell is wrong with people? It’s two people locked in a cage fighting, why the need for fireworks or drama or laser shows? If you need all that to enjoy a fight you have problems.

Because Combat Sports never sold without drama.

MMA and pro wrestling have the same demographic

Yeah I've always found it funny.
The sport of MMA in professional wrestling have always had a intertwined relationship. Going back even before the 90s. Here's a fun fact tuf was successful because it came on right after Monday night raw back in the Spike TV days.
Another fun fact the very first person to hold a UFC championship can Ken Shamrock had already been in the professional wrestling business long before entering MMA. So the first UFC champion is a professional wrestler. Lol.

I've always found it funny that purists don't know their own sports history. At the end of the day the UFC's no different than the carnival it's a traveling circus it exists to sell tickets and make money. And I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing.
But at the end of the day it's two dudes who are half naked engaged in fisticuffs for paycheck damn I love this sport.

Vince McMahon is worth like twice the amount Dana is. That's part of the reason why.

He's also been in the business significantly longer and is the majority owner of the WWE, whereas Dana just has a 10% stake in the UFC.

some people are easily entertained by flashy colors/bright lights

we just want to watch fighting

OP, you just tried to compare acting to fighting.
It just doesn't work that way.

The UFC's production is so boring that when they went retro for fight night 139 everyone was excited.

Either way all the WWE has is theatrics because its fake. They've been perfecting it for decades.

WWE is all show,, from the fireworks to the competition.. Was fun when i was a kid,, not so much anymore..

I think they shy away from splashy entertainment to remind people they're about to witness a violent unplanned unarmed conflict
