After watching WrestleMania last night...

What the hell is wrong with people? It’s two people locked in a cage fighting, why the need for fireworks or drama or laser shows? If you need all that to enjoy a fight you have problems.

I honestly wouldn't mind if they "Prided up" the entrances at UFC events. I miss all the pageantry of Pride. But respectful pageantry.

I much much much preferred the grittier , rougher looking production style of the mid to late 90s of wrestling . Where wrestlers just walked out from behind curtains and lighting was always the same except for a few like the undertaker . ECW especially had a very rough and backyard feel to it that was a huge part of it's appeal.

I basically lost interest in pro wrestling around the same time Vince banned the word "wrestling " and only allowed it to be called "sports entertainment " so circa 2001 or so

Lol @ insecure MMA fans, you're making me look bad. To be fair and honest, I enjoyed it. Enjoying pro wrestling doesn't make you more or less a hardcore MMA fan you freaks.
 
All we need is fighters getting injured while walking out to some fireworks.
 
Non UFC in UFC forum but I agree.they only do for biggest UFC stars but go to a bingo hall for fight night weigh ins etc.

i guess there was a big ass ball of light that was shining and blocking all the action in the ring during his match lol. people couldnt even see what was going on.

I haven't watched wrestling in awhile, but I do know everything you just described only happens once a year at WrestleMania. Vince doesn't do all that pagentry stuff for any other PPV's or Raw's, at least anymore.
