Opinion Afgans should advise Ukraine on how to fight Russians ?

Yes, they used American supplied weapons.

Stingers in particular turned the war, allowing them to down the previously lethal and unchallenged Hind gunships. If only the current administration were students of history, or interested in standing up to Russia

Geography and support frorm China and Pakistan had played not lesser role.
Also tactique by using geography in order to ambush supply routes and run plus repeat etc.
They weren't contentrated on any kind of meat waves etc....
Mine everything and huge usage of IEDs too, ambushes for supply routes and short but intensive retreats and repeat.
Real financial torture for supported by ukraine and warshaw block USSR....

Helicopters had also other problems besides missiles.
They had used them also to supply some areas and troops and to inject and remowe troops.
Due geography for them in such operations cases threat was also anti tank grenade launchers and ATGMS etc stuff.

One thing if you are bombing some area and another if you need to deliver supplies, install and remowe troops etc.

Cabul for them always was more like market place ...not any kind of symbol.
You take this? Then provide everything ....
Other stuff? Nice geography and " cheap " supplies by using ground assets etc.....
Roads " beauty " and xxxxxxxx basements and caves backed by ukraine and warshaw block matushka appeared not capable to check all stuff, nor U.S with friends.....

It was a totally different terrain that the Afghans were used to. It's akin to the Vietcong in the jungle. It's tough for a foreign nation to go on the home turf of another country and fight. My answer is the Afghans can teach them very little IMO.

this, its a ridiculous suggestion..

Geography is different(terrain played big role) and war changed a lot, not sure wich advice they can offer
From some point maybe might do, however they does have different geography and more basements than number of inhabitants and more caves than number of inhabitants.

For supply roads they used to mine everything possible and then if chance attack some 30-180 seconds and then retreat.
Also repeated stuff with ASAP relocation etc.

lets not forget Sudi money. roughly speaking the prime movers were Saudi (and more broadly donations across the muslim world making their way via Saudi) money, US weapons, Pakistani ISI providing training and logistics. I'm unaware of the Chinese contribution being at the same scale as the 3 already mentioned

Different situation. Russia is occupying certain parts, but the Ukrainian govt still controls most of the country and their military has not been defeated. In other words Ukraine has not fallen and entered into the full on occupation/insurgency phase.

They had used also chinesse ussr weapons clones: launchers, assault rifles and mortars ammo etc too. Also trophy USSR weapons and ammo made in USSR and China too.
It had been assumed that Pakistan then had purchased and provided.

In Pakistan then mood was that it is bad to have communists/ socialists neighbours because their ideologies were capitalism and religions while USSR had promoted ....atheism (!!!) and socialism/ communism ( with limited rights for private property ownership ) and they were...white .... these advisors from USSR. .

They could teach the Ukrainians how to properly hold the mountainous high ground, and to take advantage of that one hill they have..

One from reasons why USSR had dissolved was internal in russia.
USSR had official ideology communism with de facto socialism with aim for communism.

Properties ownership was limited, like cars, mortgage property rights you might have, trucks weren't allowed for private owners etc....they didn't had allowed you to have banks, gambling companies and their shares etc etc...not alone factories etc.

While elites were rich, their ability to show and don't hide their wealth was limited.

So better go out from USSR and then you might allow capitalism, officially allow private ownership for factories, restaurants, pawnshops etc.
Russian Federation had declared their independece from USSR ....and with this dissolved USSR de Iure.

In USSR your rights to have private property were legally limited ....
Yes, you might have gold chains, portsigars, some flat, some dacha ( villa, more often small villa ), car, motorbike, small yacht etc....
But you weren't allowed to have restaurants, gambling business, factories, trucks, banks, large agricultural land properties etc...etc etc...or multiple cars etc.

While in reality gambling and loans businesses had existed....also retail sales in grey/ black markets etc..... drugs market too...btw.
Gambling businesses under the table had existed even in Stalin era...ofc different forms and sizes....

Mr Andropov had attempted to reduce alco official sales in USSR when in real life they already had huge black market for gambling, drugs, alco, foreign goods, illegal loans and so on. Pretty casual capitalism under the table.

With this he boosted underground economy till heavens. Holy heavens.
Ppl who had free time ( worked in shitfs, were pensioners or disabled etc ) were able to purchase alco for official retail sales prices in legal stores ...cos they had extra time for this...and might easy to purchase in allowed timeframes and simply re sell later for profit. Not alone to talk about self made alco and even illegal currency exchange etc stuff. Already existed then.

Ofc easier is to blame external and internal enemies as responsible and create theories and excuses while you had 50% and more retail sales as black market and then Mr Andropov took office and told that limiting alco sales timeframe in retail sales will help.

In reality it was that you even might purchase alco from taxi driver or in legal pub, cafee or restaurant if will pay ....more .....ofc.
Maybe some neogbour or aunts will sell. Ofc for more money....

More prohibitions: more $ for black/ grey market.

They don’t need instructional help they just need supplies and weapons to sustain long enough they choke Russia out slowly which they’re doing , Russia cannot sustain years and years moving forward at the pace it’s going , Zelenskyy himself knows it’s a coin flip if Putin will outlive the war itself, once he’s gone chances this war ends greatly shifts .

It's different now. It's going to be all drones in the future. The Vietnam/Afghanistan era of war tactics will be a thing of the past.

It's just going to be drones with AI, night vision, heat vision, flying all over the country looking for humans to blow up. AK47s, rocket launchers, ambush tactics will no longer work. "Resistance" forces will not be able to hide anywhere.
