Can Jeff get a visa? we have funny rules over who who we let in, repeated DUI's convictions could be an issue

(just looking, our expiry point on offences is usually 5 years, but generally only if prison time was awarded)

Ok, from what I can see.

If you have a conviction that resulted in any prison time at all, even a day, then its likely cause for visa to be denied until the offence is over 5 years old.

but don't think Jeff has done a day at any point, but the sheer volume of them could be enough he cant get a visa

Part of the reason we are such professional drunks, is because we have the best public transport in the world

(plus, unlike America we don't have to drive ten miles to get to a bar/pub - and consequently drive home.. most of us have at least one pub in walking distance)
