TK is blaming Kenny for the explosion.

Did they not rehearse and film the explosion before the live show? If it looked shit if I'm tony Khan I say, well, were not doing that. So if it doesnt look awesome. We are doing no explosion and we will just write into story line that Kingston finds the detonator and dismantles it. Even if they wrote it lame as a which wire do I cut, the blue wire or the red wire. As cliche as that is. That would be better. Look at Japan's explosion with funk and onita, that's an explosion.

Ugh, to have a big countdown to something like that...one of the all-time worst botches. Gives fodder to those who want AEW to fail.

Just watched that and the Itoh/Riho match, because I have to work soon. Match was pretty good.

What about the rest of the PPV? Any good?

Ladder match was good. Street Fight was great. Rest of the stuff was good to decent.

I watched the first half of the PPV and turned it off. I was kinda bored. Thought it was pretty lack luster at that point. The tag battle royal went on way to long.


I like the signing of Christian. He is a great wrestler.


The ending is pretty hilarious. Lol

What happened to the "sports-based" approach than Khan talked about before opening AEW? Exploding barbwire matches are notoriously laughable among wrestling fans, so Khan and his crew decide to book one and it is inevitably just as laughable... this is the 2020 Best Booker? wtf lol

It was a great way to embarrass anyone who decided to give AEW a try. The sparklers go off and Eddie Kingston sells it like it killed him, LOL

Ok here’s the issue with AEW signing both strong who’s in his late 50sor early 60’s and an above 45 Christian guy, the young talent that came the AEW for a shot because they were not getting it elsewhere and hated being underused, are going to realize that they are also not getting a shot and are being under used in AEW....

As a Christian fan im happy, as an AEW fan im wondering how he fits in. They already have guys like Brian Cage who continue to lose almost every time but they keep bringing in different wrestlers.

Also as far as the whole ring situation I agree with others, Kingston could have saved that with an audible but sold it like he was dead, even after Mox got up he was still selling like a lifeless body.

Something I noticed on rewatch. When Mox goes to hit Paradigm Shift on Kenny on the barbed wire chair he shouts "DEATH RIDER!"
