I was watching Kong vs Godzilla. Oddly enough, on HBO Max, didn't know it was coming on before Rampage. I was only half way in and dying to watch something else. It stunk!

The previews were smart enough to only tease the fight scenes and not reveal the damn spaceship gimmicks and hollow earth stuff. It's way too cartoonish and sci-fi. I liked how the 2014 Godzilla movie took a more grounded approached and treated a Godzilla attack like a serious natural disaster

Watched Godzilla, Kong Skull Island, and Godzilla King of Monsters in theater, enjoyed them, even though King of Monsters was mid, but for some reason I saw the writing on the wall and had no interest in Godzilla vs. Kong. Figured they wouldn't know how to book a fight like that. One day I might watch it.

Watched Godzilla, Kong Skull Island, and Godzilla King of Monsters in theater, enjoyed them, even though King of Monsters was mid, but for some reason I saw the writing on the wall and had no interest in Godzilla vs. Kong. Figured they wouldn't know how to book a fight like that. One day I might watch it.

It looks significantly cheaper than those movies as well. I think King of the Monsters underperformed and they got the budget slashed for this one. KOTM was kinda fun and had it's moments but overall I didn't really like it either. Skull Island was great though
