Reading up on the case, it sounds like a lawyer money grab. Apparently he kept working for the next year and a half, never filed an incident report for any injury to his company or AEW, after he got demoted with his company at the end of 2024 he applied to work directly for AEW, after AEW didn't hire him directly that's when he got surgery and decided to sue, 2 years later.

The guy admits in the lawsuit that he didn't file an incident report for the injuries because he had another job he needed to get to that was also a touring job.

Now he has to prove that the surgery that occurred 2 years later was a direct result of that shove back in May 2023. Good luck.

The funny part is that he has said Moxley has a history of unprofessionalism and unpredictability. Sounds like he's confusing kayfabe with real life. If it goes anywhere he might tell the court how he choked a colleague with a plastic bag.
