Feel like Sean Ross Sapp is talking out of his ass on this one. No fucking shot SRS has a source outside of Tony Khan himself that knows why the main event was booked the way it was booked.

This would mean that Tony Khan booked his PPV main event solely for a few hundred people on Twitter and Reddit and then immediately leaked to the media that his champion was weak <lmao>


I noticed the Dirtsheets lately report "news" to the small percentage of wrestling fans that know or read about this shit as if the entirety of people that watch wrestling know or read about this shit.

What if Tony was thinking about the health of Ospreay's babyface run and wasn't worried about Swerve at all? Ospreay walked into the company brand new, has done nothing but win win win, zero adversity, zero chasing, as a babyface.

This cools him down a little, and makes the babyface show vulnerability and face some adversity, probably get a good feud with Callis' family, and eventually get to get a good babyface chase later.

SRS's report just reeked of bullshit if you get a chance to read it. The guy dropped paragraphs of "what Ospreay said" based on "sources within the company". He has several supposed direct Ospreay quotes from what sounds like would have to be personal conversation between Ospreay and Tony Khan if it's true lol

SRS is the guy that posts reports about AEW talent or anyone else not knowing what is happening until close to the show starting. He claims no one in AEW knows what is happening on random episodes of Dynamite yet somehow SRS has sources with the insight into how Tony Khan booked the main event of a PPV and personal direct quotes from Ospreay to the people in charge? I call bullshit unless his "source" if he actually has one and isn't making up having a "source", is Tony Khan or Will Ospreay.
 
It might be real and might be how it actually went down. I just have a hard time believing SRS got that insight, especially with how much he gets dead wrong every week.

I said in one of the AEW threads weeks ago that AEW might've had different plans for Ospreay at All In so they're taking him out of the title picture now if he loses at Forbidden Door. I'm sure several others around the internet have said the same thing. I feel like SRS took the fantasy booking from people on the internet that turned out somewhat right and turned it into a story <lmao>

Lol you didnt have to go so ham, I wasn't saying that was actually the reason brother, I'm saying Tony is a mental case and it isn't out of the realm of possibility that he'd get so in his own head
