The thing about let's say July 2000 is that EVERYTHING in WCW was the Devil storyline, even the minor stuff.
There was a storyline where Big Vito was friends with Reno in the past and he dated Vito's sister Marie (but Marie was originally Vito's girlfriend, but suddenly they were siblings instead) and Vito and Reno were having a match with someone and Kronik was paid off to attack Vito and Reno but who paid them off, obviously it must be Sister Marie but no it was Reno and the Natural Born Thrillers were there and they sucked and were feuding with each other and switched partners at one point so Palumbo went with O Hare and Stasiak went with Jindrak, and dont forget Stasiak was Stacy Kiebler's "baby" and holy fuck I can't believe I remember all this!!

After Bret and Goldberg got put on the shelf, Russo burned the place to the ground in short order. I swear he booked a viagra on a pole match at some point, maybe I'm misremembering lol.
watching All Out 2023 right now, as that's the only PPV AEW event available on my streaming, it's miles ahead of Russo WCW. My first real serious dose of AEW, as previously it was just tv segments.
It's actually pretty good thus far. Still have hours to go. Starks v Danielson was especially good.
The crowd is into it, like the production, nice to have Nigel McGuinness on commentary. Good vibes.

Regarding whether AEW is "good again" or not, they're making progress and fixing some issues, but are doggedly continuing with some terrible ideas as well. It's a simple case of trying to minimise the bad (which they have done to some extent), and going full throttle with good ideas and for the love of god not having people cool off. This week's Dynamite was a mixed bag at best.
Regarding Jericho, we'll see. These things are often so difficult to judge unless there are tons of accusations, patterns, receipts, etc. I wouldn't shed a tear if something like this led to him getting canned.

What I don't understand though is NDA's don't cover anything illegal. If Jericho harassed or assaulted her, that NDA would've never been worth the paper it's printed on, they can't be enforced if they try to cover an illegal activity.

Yeah agree plus it's hard with workplace flirting going on and whatnot. I can definitely see the other side though where, even though Jericho isn't a "superior", he clearly has power and influence that could impact your career.

It's actually a 4chan rumor that started like 3 or 4 years ago. I've heard about it back then but never brought it up because they meme a lot of shit and they have a sick sense of humor. A lot of pro wrestling memes and rumors start on 4chan then trickles down to other places.
