I'm on the other side of the world, so I see all of this on streaming (delay). I can cut out large swathes of the show and watch it on double speed if need be. Think I'm just going to skip all the promos going forward because this Jericho/Omega one is horrific and if Jericho has gotten this bad on the stick, I can't imagine what else is going on. Not sure I want to know.
 
Nick Khan, Triple H, and TKO President Mark Shapiro met with Warner Brothers Discovery executives Monday in NYC to negotiate RAW coming to their networks.

Apparently Tony Khan met with the WBD executives on Tuesday.

The war for WBD looms.

Wonder if WBD is even a serious contender for RAW. WBD has been cost cutting like crazy lately, and apparently Max is hemorrhaging money and they're even selling the streaming rights to their own movies that were previous Max exclusives like all of the DC movies to Netflix. WBD is apparently currently negotiating their NBA rights deal right now as well, which is going to be billions. The NBA has been on TNT for 35 years, that's probably a priority over anything else.

Once more I very much enjoyed Dynamite this week! Think that's 3 weeks running of good shows. The C2 has been tremendous for AEW. It's telling the stories and giving the "sports based presentation" that the hacks constantly whine about being missing. And it's so simple as well that they are reduced to complaining about math that wouldn't bother a 5 year old.

Joe/Hangman promos were good. I think that MJF has been hinted at/suspected to be the devil too much that it probably won't be him. Unless it's a swerve bro!! Jack Perry is probably the odds on favourite given the show's finish. Yeah, sure. Whatevs.

Hangman vs Roddy was good. The Dead Eye finish looked weak. Didn't ruin anything though.

Andrade vs Brody King was great! A total hoss fight and I wasn't even expecting it. Neat!

Kenny and Jericho have no chemistry on the mic. Painful circa-2006 DX segment. Howled at Starks burying Jericho's terrible comedy. Jericho scrambling to make an Enzo joke was hilarious. Ricky should've buried that too. "Kenny already made that reference". Speaking of Omega, he could not give a fuck about this Jericho tag thing. Hilarious again. Tripping all over his words too.

Riho vs Ruby was great. Timeless Toni was great! Wins all around! Lol'd at "Ruby Suh-ho".

Rush via RNC. Total ass whooping. Only way that match should've gone.

White vs Briscoe was good. No upset.

I'm wondering about the third belt. Does it have an "X" spray-painted on it? Would probably be better than yet another midcard trinket as it can be unified with MJF's belt in a world title match.

Main event was fantastic. This is what I hoped for in this tournament. Two dudes mega over. One wins, one loses. Things actually mattering. Swerve even has a presumably unintentional out he can bring up. Very interesting as well that it was Mox who played the decided heel in this one.

The NBA negotiation could be the tipping point for which wrestling company they go for. They want to retain the NBA, but look to be aiming for less games for MORE money. If they win the bid for the NBA and pay them billions, I think RAWs off the table. WWE wants 350-400m per year for RAW (If they don't get that much, their stock price will continue to drop), while AEW is looking for 200-250m a year for all content including PPVs.

There's also some reports TNT doesn't even like the ad-share they are paying AEW right now and they want AEWs share of ad-revenue dropped. Doesn't exactly sound like a network that is looking to spend even MORE money. And WWE's ad-share is notorious for not earning a good ROI. Its the whole reason FOX dropped Smackdown.

Enjoyed the show again, the matches the tournament provided have been great and seeing guys like King, Rush, Briscoe and even Andrade getting back on track and getting love from the crowd has been nice.

Jericho and Omega have no chemistry as a team and it feels like a Jericho wanting to work with Omega and eventually the Bucks kind of deal aka getting pulled into the gravitational pull of Jericho. Omega needs a good strictly solo run asap. I also forgot Starks and Bill were the Champs, also took me a second to remember who the trios Champs were.

Devil story is officially dragging on too long for me, all the winks and nudges of Jack Perry are making it worse.
