Dynamite was a good show, AEW really feels like it has a direction again and feels more like "AEW" after months of distractions and injuries.
The 3 tournament matches ranged from solid to very good, I think that's what we'll be getting. Jay White touching the strong title was a nice touch as technically he was kicked out of NJPW strong. Swerve should win this tournament. Rumors are there are no plans for a Swerve vs. MJF match anytime soon, so Swerve being the Triple Crown champion makes sense. I'm also intrigued how they handle Andrade as he's worked his ass off since his return, but he most likely still has his foot out the door. He might end up doing the honours in every match he's in as will Lethal (clearly).
Timeless Toni Storm is the gimmick of the year...easily and her performance gets better and better. She's their best female talent...BY FAR, in the ring and on the mic, she should have the belt and nobody in sight should be taking it. I think that's Hayter's role when she returns. Probably at Wembley Stadium. Then Toni can feud with Mariah May.
They are clearly planning a big angle with MJF at Worlds end. He'll probably announce he's re-signed with AEW long-term and then the Devil will attack him and unmask. That laugh was clearly Jack Perry. I was hoping they would do Mount Rushmore in AEW, with Adam Cole, The Young Bucks and someone else, maybe that'll be Perry? Roddy got a huge reaction last night and honestly would make a good babyface feuding with Cole after this Devil business is done.
Christian theatre was so goofy. Adam Copeland is still getting really good reactions and the crowds clear wants Adam vs. Christian. They missed out on an opportunity calling Nick Wayne, Nicholas Cage.
Young Bucks off the show...again. Rumors are they are going full fledge heel, dickheads again. They keep failing as babyfaces and going back heel. Unlike Kenny and Hangman, I think at the end of their deals An-Tony Khan will have buyers remorse.
