I haven't been watching AEW regularly so I'm probably wrong, but I feel like Toni vs Moné ends in a fuck finish. Moné going over clean doesn't make sense to me (all I hear is Russo, "THE HEAT, BRO!" ). Despite both coming from WWE, Toni in this gimmick just feels like the home-grown face of AEW, and Moné is just Sasha-lite. I think a win here would really cement Toni as THE women's face of AEW, but I don't think TK wants Moné to take the L (I'm not buying the Hogan-esque "creative control" gimmick either, I think it's been all TK's call the whole time).
