I'm willing to bet they will only be between rounds and during walk outs, which kind of sucks, but maybe the multicam view skips it.
They were already doing that outside of champion rounds a lot of the time unless I'm tripping, I've heard Anik say multiple times "and now the rest of this championship fight will be brought to you with no commercial breaks"

We all joke that we simply stream events, but after so many decades of watching the sport, the fact that PPV is dead (suck it canadians) and fights will stream HD on a service I already had has me chuffed.

There's no need for them to place ads between rounds, 30-45 second ad slots won't be in danger of running over, and if they're going for full minute ad slots they'll probably run split-screen ads like you see during 30-second timeouts in NFL broadcasts.

There has, however, historically been a whole lot of completely dead air time and brutally awful commentary between fights, especially when early finishes happen. Replacing that with commercials doesn't inherently make anything about the broadcast worse, although they'll probably be running ICE recruitment commercials every break, which is another issue altogether from running commercials in general.

There's 2 options and I have the supposedly ad free premium option for a few bucks more per month. I don't know if that will remove the ads during the main card. We'll see I guess.

Edit: After a quick google search it says: Yes, the Paramount+ Premium plan will feature ads during live UFC events, despite being marketed as "ad-free" for on-demand content.
