Ziam 1-0 for sure, but Davis stayed weirdly calm the entire time. Like he was just using the round to get reads and tire Ziam out. He ended well too.
I added a live bet on Davis at +220. Hopefully I'm reading this correctly.
 
Where the fuck was that all round? He looked like a slug for 4 minutes and then decides to be himself?

Rd 1 Ziam...I'm confused as to what's wrong with Davis.

That 2nd could be scored either way. The cut looked bad and might easily make the "damage" criteria hit heavy.
Either 2-0 Ziam, but could be 1-1
Davis really not liking that cut/blood though.
 
Ziam improved his grappling a ton. I'm impressed.

Looks like Ziam is taking this home. He looked a bit stronger, and his grappling held up well too.
 
I expected Ziam to win but didnt expect the D1 version

Pathetic performance from Davis. Wtf was het doing in rd 1 pulling guard twice. The guy has no heart. This was a very winnable fight for Davis. He was clearly the superior grappler.
 
Tbh after Frevola fight I never expected Ziam to have decent + odds unless he was fighting top guy like Islam, Arman or Oliviera. Imagine my surprise when hes dog in his next one against a guy who barely fights
 
Well, today is not my day it seems. I put some on Oliveira last week, so we'll see if I can keep this losing streak going haha.

Looks like Ziam's TDD is the skill that improved in this fight.

Can't wait to see who he fights next. I've won money on him during his last 3 fights -- don't remember if I bet him against Figlak.

Not just his TDD. His scrambling too. He got taken down and still hit sweeps, caused scrambles, and overall did well on the mat (a few dicey spots for sure, but overall he looked great vs a talented guy).

Davis is a good hammer. That's it.

He's super overrated

His 4 UFC wins are over:
  • Natan Levy (a worse version of Mike Davis who only beats people if they are randoms on short notice)
  • Slava Boreshchev (a pure, tall striker with no TDD)
  • Mason Jones (hasn't been in the UFC since 2022)
  • Thomas Gifford
His UFC record reminds me of Mayra Bueno Silva. 5 of her 6 UFC wins are against women who are retired from MMA.
