Im usually cool at the end of a sherdog back and forth unless dude is relentless on busting balls, sherdog is the only place i can talk MMA. My peeps. Btw nice av.
 
He's fun to watch for sure, but I could see Weidman, Romero or Rockhold beating him. I'm not sure how good his TDD is usually guys with elite striking have a weak grappling game.

Probably, at least on a technical level. Compare his performance vs Tavares and Whittakers though. Not sure who people think is better than him, Romero would fuck him, Weidman too most likely. Now Mousasi is gone he's Whittakers toughest potential match up.

OK, as you wish. I'll explain exactly where you're completely wrong:

1. To call a fighter, who has managed to get to the top 15 of his division "mediocre" or "not very good" is a pure hypocrisy.
His style was effective and good enough to build goos winning streaks against decent opposition.
If you consider a fighter like Tavares mediocre, who is good enough for you? Top 10? Top 5? This is complete BS

2. You claim he has no power. Let's leave alone the fact , that KO power is just one of the aspects in MMA and doesn't define a fighter as good or bad in anyone's eyes who can see a thing or two.
But Tavares actually HAS power - he knocks down opponents, he finishes them with strikes and yes, he has KOs in his resume.
The fact that it doesn't happen in EVERY fight does NOT mean he doesn't have it. He does. It's proven.

3. Most imporant: to call a fighter like Tavares mediocre, not very good - it's , well, not OK, but that doesn't really define you as a stupid one.
But to say "Tavares sucks" like you did? This is utter disrespect, that defines you as a very low level fan of MMA.

Just shows that UFC has better fighters, seriously Vettori is unranked but did better than some highly regarded kickboxers that Israel clowned in his sport.
Nevertheless Adesanya is a rare talent and certainly the best striker in the UFC now. And looks like hes learning quickly and showed decent TDD last fight too.
