UFC goes for marketable not best. There's a reason Connie stepped over Khabib and Eddie did too for that matter. Or Ferg is still waiting 10 wins later. Or Max had to win 10 in a row for title. Etc. Meanwhile Connie get championship fight off Sever and a mere 5 fights in UFC. Point is Russians don't sell even if they could dominate every weight class so the wont get push and be eliminated along the way because everyone loses eventually.
Have you watched a Russian MMA promotion, like ever? Russians fight each other all the time. Those fighters he referenced are childhood friends and teammates. Not even remotely fair to use them as an example to say Russians don't fight each other. That's bullshit.
Taisumov is not with Khabib's father or Eagles, so only 3 of them. Well, for example, I think Volkov and Oleinik said something like that they will agree to fight each other only in contender fight or in a championship bout (can't remember exactly). Those 4 guys are all team mates (under Khabib's father, and EaglesMMA), and I believe all but Tukhogov grew up with each other since childhood. Other Russians should have no problem fighting each other. There's still some room for some Russian talent at FW, MW and LHW if you ask me.
But im not surprised if they don't sign any more. UFC doesn't have the best fighters in the world, just some of them and its entirely based upon chance. This is why we seriously need a second Premier MMA organization. So we can actually see most of the talent in either one of the two orgs. Rather than what we have now, where there's a handful of guys in the UFC's division and everyone else spread out and not able to fight each other.
Its not going to be Bellator, that's for sure. Their handling of Russian talent has been poor, and they have a weird obsession with holding events in Israel which is pointless, and not actually signing the best fighters out there.
Actually there is same problem now in Russian mma. Some Chechen fighters in ACB are openly says that they are not gonna fight other Chechens. I think Khasiev said that he will do something to force Chechens to fight each other but I don't think that there is recent examples that he was able to force Chechens to fight each other.Have you watched a Russian MMA promotion, like ever? UFC needs Brazilians because they hold multiple event in a year in Brazil, Brazilians buys their PPV. And best Russian fighters are probably interested in something else. Like, I think Rashid Yusupov said - I can fight 4 times in a year in PFL tournament and win a 1 million of dollars, UFC are not gonna pay me 1 million for 4 fights.I get that its all marketing at the end, but with all the Brazilians they have on roster, why have such a short amount of Russians? Russia is producing the most fighters right now. 3 major orgs, countless smaller orgs. The ones the UFC signs with the exception of 5-6 guys, they are some of the most mediocre guys compared to the others out there.

I think I asked you in another thread and you didn't answer my question. To me it looks like that only Russian Bellator fighters who wasn't happy with them are Frodo, who wasn't happy that it took them some time to release him after he was banned from entering US and Minakov, who wants at least 100 000 $ to show up. Well also Shlemenko but he wants to fight every month.
Wikipedia says that UFC shows their events "on pay-per-view in the U.S., Brazil, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Italy.".Brazilians do NOT buy PPVs. UFC airs on subscription channel Combate.
The only countries that buy PPVs are US, Canada and Australia.

Multiple? Then why you can't say their names? From what I can remember, Vasilevsky left Bellator because M-1 threatened to sue him because he had contract with them, Ruslan Magomedov signed with them but refused to fight saying that since his teammate Minakov is a champ here he doesn't want to fight in that org and btw I think all of that happened back when Bjorn was in Bellator. That's multiple Russian fighters that are unhappy with Bellator. Also look at the number of guys who had 1 or 2 fights in Bellator but never fought again. Either they're being cut after one performance, or they left on their own for some reason. Either way, its too many.
I know Taisumov didn't train with them, that's why I said Tukhogov. Who is Taisumnov supposed to fight? Nobody on the rankings is even Russian other than Khabib who is the top contender. That's same for FW and LW. Is he supposed to fight Rustam, then what? Baak to square on: nobody on the rankings will fight him. If there was more Russian talent and a ranking or contendership was at stake, then maybe things would be different. There's no point fighting an unranked fellow Russian.

Why you bring Tukhugov in this conversation, he decided to move up to LW?
I mentioned that soon UFC might face the situation in which there is 4 Russian guys in the top 15 rankings and they will refuse to fight each other. If you sign 2-3 other Russian LW situation might end up gettin worse. Even in a year or two if there will be still 5 Russian guys at LW it can be a bad situation for UFC - like Khabib is a champ, Taisumov, Khabilov and Makhachev is in a top 5 - so they turn down titleshots and if contenders can't beat them - it's a bad situation for UFC - like, top 3 guys refuses to fight for the belt, other 7 guys in top 10 either lost to these top 3 Russian guys or haven't fought anyone ranked. So UFC might end up gettin forced to give titleshots to guys like Prazeres or Felder.
At the moment - yes, no point in taking fights against other Russians. If the top guys are from the same team, they won't fight. But as you bring more guys in, the fighters likely will. Otherwise their own careers go nowhere. I already pointed out: who is Taisumov supposed to fight? What Russian is in the rankings that he should fight but isn't? Rustam isn't ranked. So whats the point in fighting him, or Makhachev or whoever?

Wikipedia is often bullshit. UFC airs on Combate in Brazil, similar to how it airs on BT Sport in the UK. Wouldn't mind a Brazilian correcting me if im wrong. Australia/New Zealand are the same market for PPV.
