I trained a schizophrenic kid, it doesnt look like what Charlie does. It's legit terrifying when they're in a full-blown episode. I didnt know this kid was schizophrenic when I first met him because he had come from a juvenile program where he was getting his meds. One day he showed up to the gym without a shirt on and he had a hospital bracelet on, and proceeded to have a breakdown to the degree that we had to call authorities. 4 Cops, 4 Fireman, and 4 EMT's came to the gym, they couldnt get anything intelligent out of him. The next time I saw him a few years later he was medicated again and I had to explain to his Mom that getting hit in the head probably isnt good for him.
I know Charlie is supposed to take some kind of medication as I saw the Court video where the judge told him to. I'm just not sold that its schizophrenia having met the guy, and comparing it to actual schizophrenics I've seen. My wife's ex is also schizophrenic and when he wasn't medicated he literally couldnt tell reality from, well, not reality. In the middle of an episode they're not likely to start livestreaming or even address something like a camera, and ones that ever have that I've seen are aware theyre having an episode and are increasingly reactive to the point where they struggle to maintain, anything. They're not going to call for food in order to attack a driver and speak somewhat lucidly when they do. They're not going to apologize after antagonizing a room full of people.
Now all that said I'm just giving my opinion with what experience I have. There are manic schizophrenics and catatonic ones. If the manic ones are not medicated their episodes are gonna just happen triggered by almost anything. Charlie's whole thing is just too performative. However he could be diagnosed with schizophrenia in his paperwork, but it would surprise me if that was what he was diagnosed with. Narcissists can also think and act like they are emissaries of God. They can also get non-schizophrenic people to actually believe they are.
