Cliff note version:
It is a long shot and don't do anything if it is going to be just fluffy shit

Kushner is not qualified to lead any peace deal.

Deal should be based upon two states for two peoples

Trump has to walk back and say the US is moving its embassy to West Jersusalem and issues in East Jerusalem aren't settled.

Abbas has to stop saying he is going to dismantle security forces arrangement with Israel and Israel has to limit using forces in Palestinian controlled areas.

Abbas has to work to try to work with Hamas to prevent Gaza from facing a humanitarian and political crisis. Abbas has to give up on disarming HAMAS. * This is the toughest issue for me to fully accept from the article.

The Trump admin should get international support to move forward using Bush model, not Obama model.

Palestinian elections, and a renewal of the administrative reform pioneered under former Prime Minister Salm Fayyad are a must.

How about you just transfer the Muslim Palestinians to Jordan and problem solved? Nothing else will work. They wont be happy with just east Jerusalem. It not christians or jews or druze who is causing issues in middle east..

Outside people think they can force peace but cannot. You think Netanyahu or abbas want compromise? Lol that sailed. Forget it

I bet we'll see qualified folks representing the Trump administration in honest and complicated peace talks.

Peace will never happen till Israel stops it's illegal settlements.

Shocked that Hussein Ibish disagrees with the administration on Jerusalem and wants Hamas to keep their arms.

the two sides don't want to coexist.

and Israel has all the leverage.

Ibish hates Hamas.

He has written about as good as book as you will find for the two state solution. He hates Hamas. Ibish was a good friend of Hitchens and has no love for religious fanatics.

Did you read the article?

Pretty much everyone agrees that a peaceful resolution call for the 1967 lines with some swaps. This proposal is pretty fair on this.

The problem is there are Jewish extremists who want more land and their religious beliefs are more important to them than Israel. And Israel's parliamentary form of gov't gives them too much weight.

And there are religious fanatics who think all of Israel is an illegal settlement. And others have been promised too much and have not been prepared to what will have to be sacrificed for peace and for the creation of a Palestinian state.
