ABC's of pro rasslin'

When you say Mexican rasslin has had little impact on USA, yes, you're a casual. Every wrestling show on TV for the last 25 years here in America has had a bunch of Americans doing a lucha style and the American companies all bringing in actual luchadores to showcase their lucha style, including the massive Pay Per View event last night that featured insanely popular luchadores winning championships.

Never said it did, I was responding to your deleted comment about people on this forum not being able to name 10 Mexican wrestlers, even though people on this forum watch Mexican wrestling lol

Give me that list of a....BUNCH...of Americans doing lucha style rassling. Look at the big names in the biz, who was a lucha style rassler?

Mexican rasslers to me....

The Guerrero clan
Pepper Gomez
Mil Mascaras
Jose Lothario
Enrigue, Ramon, Alberto Torres
Hercules Cortez
Luis Martineze
Manny "Ragin' Bull" Fernandez
Ricky Romeo
Tito Santana
Gino Hernandez
Alberto Del Rio
Konnan
Fhenix & Penta
Sanchez & Ortiz
Rey Misterio

When talking the greats, the legends who was a lucha style rassler, well?

Konnan was big in Mexico what impact did he have in the WWF/WWE?

You might legit have a learning disability if you can watch a WWE, AEW, Impact, ROH, TNA or any other American show for the past couple of decades and not see lucha style wrestling all over the card.

Not even just America, even Japanese promotions will literally send their talent on excursion for 2 years to Mexico after graduating their dojos to learn lucha. Some of them even come back to Japan and fully adapt the lucha culture by never taking off their mask.

This guy really is a confirmed casual.

Just saw you edit another post again ten minutes later by adding a bunch of names to it.

Do you think someone has to be Mexican to adapt lucha moves? lol the fuck?

Watch some wrestling you confirmed casual. I'm not gonna spoon feed you lol

Clearly John Cena and Triple H wasn't out there doing tope suicidas, tope con Giros, spinning head scissors, and moonsaults, but these companies had rosters full of people doing shit they lifted from luchadores. Their shows are full of people right now doing shit that was lifted from lucha libre, because lucha had a massive influence on wrestling over the last two decades. WCW's cruiserweight division in the mid to late 90's, which was filled with luchadores from Mexico, had a massive influence on the style of wrestling that became huge in America in the late 90's and is what is filling rosters right now.

Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, AJ Styles, and Seth Rollins all have lucha inspired moves mixed in to their move sets. You gotta be trolling at this point.

Literally what your post was about that I was responding to. "How little Mexican rasslin had an impact on USA"

The fuck do you think rosters full of American wrestlers doing lucha inspired moves is? An Impact on USA.

lol holy fuck guy, are you really this dense?

I was actually talking about what goes on in the AAA and any other promotions in Mexico. We never hear or read about anything going on from Mexico.

I do doubt most rasslin' fans can name 10 current Mexican rasslers over there, so what goes on there has no impact on us. And only a guy like you and me know about El Santo.

And there are no big names right now where you'd say they have a lucha style, there is no BUNCH of Americans. What Penta and Fenix do is a lot different than what we see others doing.

I went back five pages where is this talk about Mexican rasslin' at?

In my opinion, E should be neither Edouard Carpentier nor El Santo but the original Strangler Lewis.
