lol @ a list of wrasslin belts

Is this list supposed to be the most famous wrestlers who's first name starts with that letter or just random wrestlers who's first name starts with that letter?

lol @ a list of wrasslin belts

Try Championships won amigo, which is a biggie in the rasslin' biz, honest!

Not talking Mexican movies here, ok?

Carpentier in with Buddy Rogers, Lou Thesz, Killer Kowalski, Verne Gagne, Fred Blassie, Antonio Rocca.

El Santo vs Black Shadow

Guess that means guys like Randy Orton and Edge are two of the top 5 guys in the history of the biz.

Stick to El Santo, why would he be ranked above Edouard Carpentier, well?

Carpentier was as big as it gets, that was never El Santo. He never sold out MSG.

El Santo transcended pro wrestling into pop culture. El Santo has been known for decades by millions of people. El Santo is still talked about to this day.

The only time you'll ever hear the name Edouard Carpentier talked about is maybe once every few years someone will do a history of the territories podcast and you'll hear his name come up because they're talking about more famous people of the era like Lou Thesz or Verne Gagne. They'll be like "remember when Thesz dropped the NWA Worlds Championship to Carpentier on some bullshit, and most of the territories didn't even recognize it" and then they won't bring him up again lol

El Santo wins!

Like I said well aware of his story, he isn't on the same level with Carpentier if all he had done was rassle. The guy is known because of the movies you know that.

Hmmmmm? ABC's of pro rasslers who did movies,

You said "far bigger in the biz" earlier in the thread.

Bigger generally implies fame and drawing power.

El Santo clearly had way more fame and drawing power.

Also El Santo was like 20 years into his wrestling career before he started doing movies. He filled up arenas and stadiums for his -wrestling- and was watched by millions of people on TV for his -wrestling- before he started doing movies. Hence the reason why his movies were popular when he started doing movies lol

Biggest impact on the biz.

We could probably start picking apart some of your other letters then.

Well if El Santo over Edouard Carpentier is any preview, hahahaha!!!!

Dude, you have any idea at all how little impact Mexican rasslin' and movies have on us here in the USA?

You familiar with the pro wrestling magazines? Good luck finding anything about El Santo in any of them and I am talking back in his day.

i bet most here can't name 10 Mexican rasslers.

Most here watch the AAA events and live chat about them.

I bet most wrestling fans never even heard of Edouard Carpentier

Clearly you're a casual.

Clearly you're a casual.

Dude, grew up watching Baron Leoni, Gorgeous George, Lord Bliears, Freddie Blassie, Mr. Moto, can talk about rasslers you have never heard of,trust me. Casual...hahahaha!!!!

AAA doesn't interest me.

You can't be into the history of it all and not be aware of Edouard Carpentier.

When you say Mexican rasslin has had little impact on USA, yes, you're a casual. Every wrestling show on TV for the last 25 years here in America has had a bunch of Americans doing a lucha style and the American companies all bringing in actual luchadores to showcase their lucha style, including the massive Pay Per View event last night that featured insanely popular luchadores winning championships.

AAA doesn't interest me.

Never said it did, I was responding to your deleted comment about people on this forum not being able to name 10 Mexican wrestlers, even though people on this forum watch Mexican wrestling lol
