A Slice of Boring Cheese between 2 Slices of Plain Bland Bread is America's Favorite Sandwich

Once you start adding shit it’s no longer a grilled cheese
I don't know if that's true. Bacon, prosciutto, sauteed spinach, pickled jalapenos, different cheeses... it's almost limitless.

Survey of 2,000 people reveals that grilled cheese, chicken, and turkey rule the sandwich category as America’s favorites.
Overall, Americans’ favorite sandwiches are Grilled Cheese (42%), Chicken (40%), Turkey (30%), Ham (27%), Tuna (24%), Egg (21%), PB&J (21%), and Meatball sandwiches (19%).

The survey found that sandwiches make up 30% of the average American’s diet. In fact, nearly half (46%) claimed that they could live on sandwiches alone for the rest of their lives.

So 42 percent of the population is poor?

It’s a pretty universal childhood food here in the states. May not be the best tasting sand-which but it’s something very few people don’t like and is also very cheap. Personally if I’m gonna do a grilled cheese I’m gonna add ham as well as some siracha, and probably eat it along side a soup. But there’s nothing wrong with a good old fashioned grilled cheese, tastes good and is filling as hell.

I lived in Norfolk, Virginia for a while. There was a restaurant called The Grilled Cheese. I never went, there was all sorts of lobster mac and cheese grilled cheese and other stuff I knew I'd need a knife and fork for it was so tall.

Same reason the most popular burger in America is at McDonalds. We are uncultured swine.

The first year of my renal diet, I gave up cheese, along with many other things. The second year of renal diet, I ungave up cheese. Until my kidneys hit the shitter its probably going to stay that way. War grilled cheese.

Bacon is a key ingredient in my grilled cheese sandwich.

Don’t forget the mayo

Air fryer is legit for this

Dude, you're making it sound boring by describing it that way. A grilled cheese might not be my favorite, but it's mighty tasty. Buttered, toasted bread and MELTED, gooey cheese is fucking fantastic.

That's like describing pornography as "two homo sapiens copulating." GTFO!

I used to make grill cheese on a toaster sideways as a kid LOL! But, now I sometimes I make grill cheese with mild cheddar with sourdough bread
