Actually I made a mistake. Ilia moved back to Georgia between 8 and 14 where he did Greco and kyokushin.Yeah that was my joke but maybe you're saying people as in other people and I'm now misunderstanding you instead
As far as I know, he developed his wrestling roots in Georgia, and then built upon it with BJJ that he learned in Spain.TBF though I find it misleading to call Topuria Georgian as he has never trained in Gerorgia and doesn‘t use wrestling or judo, the 2 disciplines where Georgia is known.
