It's too sweeping a statement to be accurate. A lot of kids, especially the younger ones, are nice. Others behave like they were kicked out of Hell because their daddy, Satan himself, was tired of their shit.
Same with adults. There are people I hate. There are a few I'd take a bullet for. But the majority of them I'm simply indifferent to. I suspect the majority of people hold a similar view.
And honestly, outside of a very small number of friends and family, I'd rather spend quality time with a dog than a human. Whatever the human's age.

Depends on how they were raised. Some kids awesome and instill hope for the future. Some others you would give the parents your belt to beat a kids ass in a grocery store.

I would argue that those "naughty/annoying kids" dont represent kids generally. I would argue that they are a direct result of terrible parenting. Kids are like dough that needs moulding. They dont know yet what makes good manners, but their parents do. (Or they should know)
The disgust towards annoying kids should be directed at the bad parents 100%.

Yeah I do blame the parents.but it's not.lile the world I grew up in. A lot.pf people just park them in front of a TV or tablet as soon as they can and they grow into little shits rapidly if they are just plugged into instant gratification systems with no oversight.
Unfortunately that's how a lot of my friends chose to raise.their kids and how a lot of people in general seem to.be raising them. Kids are.not wired to handle that kind of instant gratification being around 24/7 without adults setting limits.

The purest form of human is someone spending every second of their day trying to improve themselves in some form or other. Being inspired to reach for greater, unseen heights is what differentiates us from animals. Crossing oceans. Going into space. Doing physically impossible feats. Facing fears. Overcoming obstacles. THIS is the purest form of the human spirit. Not playing in the dirt, knocking things arounds or being amazed by a ball at 6 years old. Dogs and cats do that too, it’s not purity, it’s limited development.

I wouldn't know. My little sister has always been very sweet but I was also bullied as a child, so I'll always be skeptical.
You're probably better off asking people who actively work with children, like teachers, nurses and those who run nurseries...

Yeah giving kids freedom of entertaining themselves with tablets are terrible.
Our generation we have the TV, a lesser evil. We cant choose the programs we want to watch, its the channel that chose for you.
This generation is doomed. Anyone can go to any app and watch whatever they exactly want to watch. If they dont like it, they can just switch to the next interesting thing. And its endless.
Thats why in my country the government issued an advisory to the parents not to let their child watch any sort of YouTube videos till they are of a later age

Yeah a former friend is raising two boys, and from the time they were toddlers they always had tablets in front of them so they wouldn't act out too much.
Well fast forward and last I spoke to him both kids didn't really have set schedules or bedtimes. Because they just flat out refused to shut the gadgets off and go to sleep and the parents wouldn't force the issue. Had him tell me once "oh but they don't want to go to sleep without having the tablets"
Yeah who gives a fuck what they prefer, I thought these were kids and you were the man of the house? But like I said times have changed and a lot of these parents don't know.what the fuck they're doing because they weren't raised right either.
I know I wasn't. By my teens their primary form of discipline was shut the fuck up and don't question us or we'll hurt you basically. Yeah we don't talk today lmao.
I once walked into a grocery store as a family was walking out. The little boys were maybe twins or a year apart and one just wound up and whacked the other one super hard in the chest like some evil little shit.

Yeah it's wrong. Some people don't like kids because they represent a responsibility that they don't want. Doesn't automatically default to they don't like humans. They just don't want a part in raising little ones or entertaining them or worrying about them over themselves. Know good people who aren't too kid friendly that would fall into this category. And they're even nice with kids, despite their overall disposition towards them. But they would tell you they don't really like kids or being around them.

Seems like so many people today want so desperately to be seen as “good people” when the grim reality is that most people are not good. Life gets a lot easier once you reach this epiphany

I didn't care for kids until I had my own in my 30s. Now kids are the best! I encourage everyone who I think would be a good parent to have some.
