I don't dislike kids in general. I'm just not good with them. I don't have any and I was raised an only child. Most of the time I give kids a pass for doing things that kids normally do. But if I spend time around a kid enough and I see a pattern of bullshit I start to not like them and their parents for letting them get that way.

A friend's kid is like that. They never tell them no, coddle them and the kid is obnoxious 24/7. I don't even like hanging out with them when their kid is around. They just kill the vibe of the room and become draining.

Yeah I do blame the parents.but it's not.lile the world I grew up in. A lot.pf people just park them in front of a TV or tablet as soon as they can and they grow into little shits rapidly if they are just plugged into instant gratification systems with no oversight.

Unfortunately that's how a lot of my friends chose to raise.their kids and how a lot of people in general seem to.be raising them. Kids are.not wired to handle that kind of instant gratification being around 24/7 without adults setting limits.

One of my friends is really strict with their three year old, no tablets, no sugar, no trace of them on social media, I don't even think they let them watch cartoons.

Not true at all. I barely "liked" my own kids when they were young. I loved them, but liking kids is different. Some folks have less patience with kids and their inability to grasp concepts you are trying to get them to. It is still a flaw in the adult, but it doesn't automatically mean you don't like humans in general.

Disliking kids from about 4 years and older is kinda understandable.

But how can you not like babies? The cute ones are adorable.

And the ugly babies you just kinda leave alone. Crazy to me that you can dislike a baby.
