The purpose of today was to find out where I am on bench. I set up for a single at 275 since I felt I could handle that based on my last single. The warmup singles were clean and quick even at 245. THe 275 felt heavy in my hands and stalled 8inches off my chest. I was still pushing a mm at a time but burnt quickly. I told the spotter help and he put a finger under each side and I finished the lift. The 265 was an utter failure as I had burnt what I had on the previous lift.

I think on some other day I own 275 but its close to what I can do right now. I tried to salvage something out of the workout with the triples and the volume sets. I like the idea of BBB and may implenment it in my bench only.

I was pissed at myself when I got home, so I went back and did my assistance work I hadn 't done earlier plus the BOR and pushpress just because.

Tommorrow squats, I'm thinking triples.

Not the greatest work in history as I was about 5 to 10 degrees high for most of the heavier sets. Was making 16" but really need a 15" or even 14" box to work off of.(may have to measure every DB bench in the place or add a plates to the top of the 12" platform til I get what I need) However that being said it was still enough to make walking up my basement stairs an hour later work. Some would say to just hit bottom and go from there. But I'm still nursing the grion pull and truly deep heavy squats are hell on it, so I figure even a slightly limited range of motion is better than no motion at all for the time being.

The SLDL is part of my plan to use my squat day to fit in extra assistance for my deads.

Maybe JJ Sat if I wake up, Sunday lifts if I feel up to it. Right now the chest is shot and the legs will be by tommorrow.

Yea whoever started this dumbass log should be run out on a rail. Just lifting, JJ and pics of half naked chicks, who wants to talk about those kinda things.

The overheads I love for the warmup. I drop them to the grass. My squat form improves greatly when I do them first as well.
 
mmm, now that is some nice milky white skin. the tatted up girls usually arent tanned up also. so the tattoos on very pale (sexy as hell) girls stand out in beautiful contrast to their skin

yet people pay money to ruin their skin so they can resemble an old catchers mitt. tards

also i imagine fozzy as a cartoon character, like a roger rabbit type. an actual cartoon living in the real world and each time he sees a pic of a girl he likes his eyes bulge out

Sept 12th

JJ/MMA sorta

I got to the gym for their saturday work out. Started my warmup and realized that was probably a mistake. Started my warm up and started gagging as my head began draining down my throat again. Anytime I get a cold I have trouble wearing a mouthpiece regardless of how good a guard it is. I decided to forgo the competive work and did some drill work on some sweeps again(I have been neglecting them for awhile) and called it quites.

My lifting schedule is way off due to the gym closure and then the holiday last week. I have 3 days in a row that I could lift coming up starting tommorrow and need to figure out what I want to get in. Right now I'm thinking

Sunday-PC/Press work and maybe some cardio
Monday-deads and assistance
Tuesday Bench/JJ

The PCs would be light and I don't find the press work that taxing. I did squats friday and am still a little tight but should be ok by Monday if I get some bike in on sunday, Chest was tight yesterday(did it Thursday) so by Tues I should be good to go. Then its going to be Sat before I get back to the gym so squats then. Ideas/options
 
No clue on the lifting, but drilling JJ technique is a lost art these days. Everyone just wants to throw down. If you can find someone to spend half an hour with going over one or two things, it will improve your game immeasurably.
My drilling partner and I had time scheduled four days a week. Can't make that work anymore, and I feel the lack every time I roll.
 
I'm pretty sure she took them herself.

She did an excellent job, She either is incrediablely lucky or has a good eye.

I actually artistically like the fact the scene doesn't look overly posed or set up. It works well, its hard to tell if they were "done" or candids.

Needed to do something today so I did an easy clean/press workout. Had never tried snatch before and its sorta fun. Deads tommorrow.

Had an unusual experience today at the gym. some 13 year old came up to me and asked me to spot him, I asked him what he was lifting and for him to just wave me over when he was ready. He then procedes to sit down and watch me do cleans for a set or two. Then he goes and gets his younger brother and they both sit there watching me. He comes over and I ask him if he's ready to lift and he asks what I was doing. I told him they were cleans with overhead presses added. He then said "how strong are you cause that looks heavy"

I really didn't know what to say since I've never been considered strong even by midgets and handicap people. So I told him, being typical me, that it wasn't that hard and with some work he could do the same. His older brother works there and is a ripped 18 year old bench monkey so it came as an even bigger compliment.

I guess I look more impresive than I thought cause on my way out a 20ish college girl stopped me for a minute to ask about what I was doing to and flirted alittle. I don't think she had any clue she was young enough to be my daughter. War me.
 
I won't go that far, I think she saw what I was doing and just found it unusual. I would guess that she had never seen it done before.

I have only seen 2 or 3 people do DB oly style lifting in this place. One was a D1 wrestler during his summer break and the other a DII football player. I'm the only person around on a regular basis that does it now. And theres only one or 2 that do any sort of BB clean work but I'm the only one who does it consistantly. The local highschool has a clean intensive program but they lift at the school even in the off season.

Add to that the fact that I had been nice to the kids in her earshot so she knew I wasn't a prick. A stud I am not
