A girl was bullying a smaller boy and disrespected his father, so the man slapped the girl

lol, never heard that one before. growing up in NY during the 60s and 70s, whooping someone else's kid didn't fly.
Maybe your parents and grandparents were consummate apologist pussies. Just sayin...

lol, jk bruh.
but still.
Kids in NY in the 60s carried switch blades, looking at one cross-eyed was grounds to get shanked, leading to blood on your shoes. And no one is trying to pay the shoe shine kids double

My parents tell me stories about being young in the 60s, and if you went around being a nuisance back then, some random adult would spank the nuisance out of you, and your parents would show up and...thank them.

As a kid, I lived in a small town outside of Fargo, ND, but basically Fargo. This was during the mid to late 80's. Everyone knew each other, so I guess that's it was like that.

As a bonus, you got it worse when you got home.

I was under the impression cops in the 60s-70s had this piece of leather. They were allowed to slap bums and kids around with that piece of leather for loitering or being a nuisance.

Makes a lot of sense. Smaller places with smaller populations and more true community and interaction. My family is from OKC, and in the 60s it was probably like 15% of what it is today. The way my dad told it, like it was every adult's obligation to "parent" anyone's kids, if necessary, and no one really ever got mad about it. More upset at the kid for embarrassing the family.

I never knew you were a cop. You could have tipped the fuzz off about me being a fugitive some years back, and you held your silence. You respect the Sherdog Code, and I admire that.
smh, you goof.
I didn't even know you were in the can until cuffs told me.
but, The Code is absolute.

domini domini, you're all Catholics now

If you want to be treated like a female, then act like one. That being said, a man's job is to lead, keep his composure, and use violence only when necessary. Instead we get emotional reactions and feminine behavior all around.

Yeah, OKC blew up.

I landed at OKC in 1994 to get picked up on a shuttle to Ft Sill, for a part of my ABC course during my time in the Corps. We had some time to mess around in the city.

In 2017, I had huge layover in OKC to DEN during a business trip. I decided to get something to eat in the city, because Will Rogers didn't offer much, at a premium.

OKC drastically changed.

Do they normally speak English there and have a bunch of Arab looking people walking around? It says the man is Eritrean but doesn't say the incident occurred in Eritrea
They're black lighter skined. No afro but clearly black. And slim people. Never get mistaken for Arabs.

They're about to build the biggest skyscraper in the country here. Kinda a testament to all of the corporate greed moving in, everyone wants to move their business here. Big influx of Texans and Californians during covid, also. What this place was when I was growing up is a relic from a bygone time.

Thank you for your service, Marine.
