A democrat appointed SCOTUS Justice = goodye constitution

These are in direct contradiction of each other. You can not play a long con and then change it every year.

They aren't contradictory.

Don't most votes NOT go 5-4, like most people believe?

Yeah, TS is an idiot. Free speech cases, for example are generally unanimous. The exception is usually when it is local government sponsorship of religious speech.

I don't know about the last term but the one before that something like 20% were 5-4 while more than 60% were unanimous.

I just posted 2 examples one affecting the 1st and one affecting the 2nd ammendments that were 5-4. Stop being so fucking stupid.

nowhere did I say this, but some very IMPORTANT ones do.

The Constitution was intentionally vague in many places as the founding fathers anticipated the need for practical and current application. They knew they couldn't possibly foresee everything and did not try to make it too encompassing.

And let's face it, the Bill of Rights is the better text. The founding fathers were not very good on civil rights. The Constitution originally counted blacks vas 3/5 a person for the purpose of the census. And it just was a different time.

There are some good principles in the Constitution but it needs to be a living document. And that's regardless of someone's political ideology.

Yeah you're right you didn't, except for this part where you totally did:

"One of the great things about our country is the constitution and how it protects us. The left/dems/libs will take this away if the get one more justice. Period. It will be 5-4 left ON EVERY VOTE. They will legislate from the bench."

It was very clearly intended to be a living document, as the Bill of Rights was put off, compromises were reached in hopes of later amending it, etc.

Your OP was stupid. Yes some important votes go 5-4. As often as not Scalia was on the wrong side of that. Important votes often also go 9-0 or close to it, particularly clear 1st ammendment votes. Also, as mentioned, Scalia was hardly the champion of the 1st you pretend.
