Dern can easily make 115 with a bit of discipline, that's where she needs to fight. Glad she finds all the fat cow memes a hoot though, some would take it to heart.

I don't think anyone is disputing that Dern could make 115 with a bit of discipline. The issue is that she obviously is lacking that discipline, so 125 is where she needs to fight. Not fair to her opponents. She clearly was much larger than Cooper in their fight. She looked like a bantamweight fighting a strawweight.

I think the UFC would be crazy to schedule Dern at 115 again, and I think any prospective opponent would be crazy not to have stern measures like 35% of Dern's purse if she misses weight put into the fight agreement.

After thinking about it, Amanda Cooper should've declined the fight. Not because she lost (obviously), but that would've been the proper way to embarrass Dern into either moving up, taking it seriously, or getting cut.

I agree with the people who said she could be 105. She's carrying at least 10 pounds of fat on her, more likely 15, she can cut the 5-10 pounds of water above that easily. But I love the idea of her fighting at 125 and going against Valentina. Hopefully a quick slaughter.

She needs to be moved up to 125. The UFC needs to act like it did with Gastelum, Hendricks, etc. Fighting at 115 makes zero sense and not fair to her opponents and the card if the fight ends up getting cancelled due to weight cut problems.

Why would she need to go up when she’s showing up looking like a whale. She should have no problem getting down to 115, as long as she stays away from Mcdonalds for a couple of weeks before the fight...

From what she's been saying the UFC have suggested she move up but are giving her the chance to make 115 a couple of times in non-fight situations. If she does those supervised out of fight cuts at the PI there's no reason not to book her at 115.

Deen needs to tweek her body composition so maintenance is around 130 lbs at 22% body fat.
