9" height differential!

Gotta give respect to Derron Winn! At 5'6" he beat his opponent at 6'3"! Is this the greatest height differential in UFC (where the smaller guy winns?)

I know this isn't news, I watched the last event a day late.
Jeff Monson - 5'9
Tym Sylvia - 6'8

Its a good win but he shouldnt have any delusions about MW, Adesanya would piece him up as would several others. Reminds me of Hendricks fighting at 185 when he clearly had the build of a 170er, or Rumble at HW when he really should have been a LHW.

Skill will take you a long ways but you need to be properly framed to have long term success in your division because the top of the division will have equal skill AND the proper build.

Hunt is 5 ft 10 and Struve is 7 ft 0 that is a huge size difference and Hunt destroyed Struve
I'd say beating Struve is less impressive. He's so huge he's slow and uncoordinated. Not really the case here.

Winn is 5 foot 3-4. Makes the win even more impressive.

winn should be cut, immediately...what does he do? all he does is take the guy down and literally lays on the guy the entire fight...barely throws any ground and pound...never goes for any submissions. he can't even make 185lbs? Are you kidding me? he had to fight at a catch weight of 194...get real...the guy should be fighting at 170lbs...the guy is fat...and he's lucky as hell the other guy gassed. no wonder winn loses most of his fights.

Who said Winn can't make 185?

The fight was a catchweight because Winn's original opponent withdrew and Arroyo accepted the bout on short notice. Arroyo probably couldn't make 185 on like 3 days' notice

Why do his opponents let him take them down then? They should work on their TDD.

Winn landed shots on the ground, maybe not the most damaging but that's due to the height difference he can't close space as much.

Winn made his opponent gas out...so he's not "lucky he gassed" lmao

Conor had to fight a guy three times the size of him.

Ben Askren was 5 feet shorter than Masvidal most of the time in the octagon.

This fight between a 6’7 featherweight and a 5’4 old man had the biggest height difference in mma as far as I know. It’s basically Cejudo Vs. Browne in terms of height.65A16D92-132F-438A-9399-C616AD2BDCFA.jpeg

There hasn't been a 9" difference since me and your mom

Her dicks huge!

For real though. Great performance. Respect the Winn.

Also that night, Canelo gave up 6 inches to Callum Smith and just dominated him.
