Crime 8-Year Old Mauled To Death By Two Pitbulls

Does the rednecks and ghettos have power and influence in the pet lobby or something?

I can’t think of any other reason why they aren’t banned.

Oh, a law firm as a resource? Really? Because obviously they have no agenda at all, right?

LMAO!

First off, bite statistics? Totally incomplete. There's no central system in the U.S. for tracking dog bites, so getting an accurate count is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

And figuring out which breeds are involved? Good luck with that... especially since a lot of dogs are mixed breeds, and it’s hard to tell what kind of dog it was after a bite.

Now, about pit bulls... not all of them are aggressive. Shocking, I know. Like any breed, they can be total sweethearts.

But yeah, they’re strong, and if you don’t bother to socialize or train them, they might be a bit risky.

Genetics lay out the blueprint and the potential, while the environment decides which parts of that blueprint come to life.

Again, Bad owners = Bad dogs.

And then, oh boy, comparing dogs to snakes? That’s rich.

Dogs are basically kids in fur coats, eager to learn and please, soaking up everything we teach them.

Snakes? Yeah, they’re just out there being snakes, driven by primal instincts like hunting and self-defense. You might get a snake to tolerate your presence, but teaching it to sit or fetch?

Hilarious.

Dogs are all about socializing and adapting, while snakes are like, "Just don’t eat me, thanks."

Honestly, with you citing a law firm as if it is some unbiased, reputable source and then making that comparison between dogs and snakes?

You’ve lost all credibility.

Tell me you’re a sociopath without telling me you’re a sociopath.

People in your neighborhood definitely have a few pets missing, don't they?

You're done here, Dahmer, go back to listening to police scanners.
You didn't prove them wrong but here's another study: A CDC report on dog-bite fatalities from 1978 to 1998 confirms that pit bulls are responsible for more deaths than any other breed.

It's become the favored dog of young virtue signaling women in the last decade.
Reminds me when I was jogging in the middle of the night few months ago.

The virtually signaling woman was in the opposite path waiting for me to pass so she could cross over to the path I jogged on. She didn’t move, tightly wrapped the leash and leaned her body over her huge white pitbull who gave me the menancing stare. I freaked out just realizing it was a pit, ran fast to keep a distance and kept looking back just to be sure.

I never trust pitbull owners who always look like they’re struggling to control their pace when holding the leash.

LMAO you clearly didn't even read the article yourself or check out the supposed report because if you actually would have and clicked on the link to that supposed report you would have noticed that the link is a DEAD LINK.

You're so desperate to be right (when you're not) that you searched for something with a credible source after getting caught citing a law firm with a clear agenda.

You skimmed through an article that screams "PIT BULLS BAD EVIL DOGS," saw a reference to the CDC, and in your twisted little mind thought, "Yeah, this will get him... this will show subtlySteve!" And yet It’s a DEAD LINK.

Meaning, you didn’t even bother to click on it or check the report yourself, genius.

And why is it a dead link? Because it says so right there next to the DEAD LINK in the article!

And why doesn’t the CDC collect breed-specific information anymore?

Because breed identification is often subjective and unreliable. Many dogs are mixed breeds, making accurate identification challenging and prone to misclassification.

There's no central system in the U.S. for tracking dog bites, so getting an accurate count is not possible.

Here is a page from the CDC that actually works:

CDC.gov - Dogs

And what does the CDC actually say about dogs?

The CDC emphasizes that focusing on individual dog behavior and owner responsibility is more effective in preventing dog bites than targeting specific breeds.

They advocate for responsible dog ownership, including proper training, socialization, and spaying/neutering, as the best approach to reducing dog bites.

Oh... you mean exactly what I have been saying this entire comment thread?

As I said in my last comment... You’ve lost all credibility.

And this has only strengthened my position.

You've lost, Jeffery... go dig up a couple of the pets you've killed and sniff dog femurs while you jack off, and don't involve me in anymore of your bullshit, you fucking idiot.

In fact, I’ll just add you to my ignore list now, because clearly, if you're stupid enough to link to an article you didn’t bother reading, which contains a link to statistics you're too stupid to check, then you're obviously too stupid to follow simple instructions.

Meh... because it's only a breed. I'm not advocating killing them all and taking pets from folks. There dogs are just wired weird on some. There was a baby with its toes chewed off by a pit pup and a 73 year old killed by her own dog. Just odd stuff. If the breed is phased out then what's the big deal if you aren't taking peeps pets and killing them.
I get where yr coming from but I don't see the animal as the problem. The majority of owners have them as family pets never have an issue. The issue is the owner.

Just destroy this whole murderous race of dogs.
Only sociopaths own them.
these dogs have always been popular in the ghetto, however, for some reason, they are seemingly gaining popularity among suburban folks..... I swear I see more and more neighbors starting to own these dogs, and the homes around here are million dollar+ properties. two of my newest neighbors own them, moved in with them, kid down the street acquired one, realtor neighbor down the street got one...... it's maddening, the days of walking in peace means I need to carry pepper spray soon. The perception of crime on the rise, the need of these dogs for protection, circle of death/self fulfilling prophecy kind of scenario

insane

To what? Stop breeding them altogether? Nah. Like I said, it's not this epidemic that the headlines would have you believe. You got some incidents here and there, but to go extreme like that wouldn't accomplish much. There would just be another "dangerous" breed that needs to be exterminated after that. I'm sure the dog owners arguing for this, wouldn't like being told that their harmless Rottweiler was a danger to society and needed to be turned in and put down. You can't bubble wrap the world over a few bad incidents. Shit happens with animals. Is what it is.
But I don't think there is a conspiracy by the media against this breed. It's deaths bruh... sometimes to their ownner. No it's not widespread but it's an issue. It's not a hill I will die on but they were bred not for protection but to fight bulls. To latch onto their face. Its more than nurture but their instincts. Anyway, I get your position so I'm good. We can agree to disagree on this.

It pisses me off seeing children and frail woman walking with a dog that over powers them

This case for example angers me so much. Who the fuck let a little girl walk a dog like that? The innocent sweet dog died because of those dumb parents. The owners should have it on a leash but still..

There's a lot of "All dogs are good boys" stuff on social media. It's trendy to go to the shelter and adopt a pitbull nobody wants. These people are literally convinced all dog genetics are 100% identical and the pits that randomly attacked their owners just didn't just get enough love or something. It's peak privileged white woman nonsense.

The argument will always be it's the owner not the dog, yet the bottom line is somehow these dogs consistently fall into the hands of some shit owners and nothing changes. I guess we're just ok with losing people to pit bull attacks every so often, because nobody is doing jack shit about it.

Just wait yall. Cane Corsos and Dogos are rapidly gaining popularity. There will be a new king of the playground soon.

Bulldogs were bred for what you are thinking.

that gal screaming should have been aware that she could have been next........... her dog took the fall, and it was a surprisingly quick death.
