This will surely settle the GOAT debates that have been raging for years. LOL.

This thread is so unoriginal, that even my post making fun of you is unoriginal.

But..... With the quarantine, I guess none of us have anything better to do.

Oh, you just wait till I give you my 11-15...youre gonna be downright giddy!

Only the number one has a clean winner and that’s Georges St-Pierre.

The others are very debatable.
Fedor , Aldo , Cruz , Stipe , MM , DC are all in the mix.

Yep, undisputed paper GOAT.

My top 5 was:
1. Fedor
2. GSP
3. Anderson
4. Bones
5. Aldo

I guess I’ll go with:

6. Mighty Mouse
7. Cruz
8. BJ Penn
9. Cormier
10. Couture or Hendo? Hard to say.

Could be subject to change, but that’s what I’m going with off the top of my head.

Fantastic list, agreed with 99% of it. I would certainly have Cormier ahead of Mouse and Cruz and Penn as his resume is much better and much better overall record, but agree with everything else, great list.

Jones
Silva
Fedor
Aldo
Khabib

MM
DC
GSP
BJ Penn
Cruz (Or better: JDS, we all like him)

Wand in the top 5, hell top 20

I like how everyone’s list has Aldo in the top 5, which I agree with.

I know someone who’d be furious.

Thanks! Yeah it’s definitely possible that Cormier should be higher. I have some weight to divisional significance; Penn is very significant to the history of the LW division, same with MM at flyweight, etc. In MM’s case, I also think P4P, he’s a better, more well-rounded fighter than the others. But these lists are so subjective anyway.

Its amazing how modern fans chit on Wand...

SMH
Wand is great, absolute legend. I just don’t think his record, resume, or accomplishments put him in the top 10. Maybe not even top 15.

I respect that but...

He was more than great.

The man had an aggressive, attacking style... always moved forward.

Even with that style, he went unbeaten for 4 years in Pride before losing a decision to Mark fukin Hunto.

He was a middleweight and went the distance...on the feet... with Hunto.

The man DESTROYED prime Rampage twice.

Again...SMH

1) GSP
2) Fedor
3) Anderson
4) Jones
5) Aldo
6) Mighty Mouse
7) DC
8) Cruz
9) Stipe
10) Hughes/BJ

Whoever wins Tony-Khabib enters at the 8-10 spot.

I feel ya, and again, these lists are subjective. I loved Wand’s style. Was he undefeated for a decade and take out record numbers of former UFC champs like Fedor? No.
Did he have record numbers of title defenses like Anderson, or Bones, or Aldo, or MM? No.
Did he hold multiple belts in big orgs, or simultaneously, or in diff weight classes like Penn, or Hendo, or Couture, or Cormier? No.
Then he should be ranked behind those guys, at the very least.
