What's the cut for UFC fighters getting from UFC currently?

0%, they pay their fighters what they want.

I really hope that they schedule some better match ups for TNF now that it is going to FOX at that price tag.

That doesn't say it goes to the players. It says it goes to the teams for payroll. Their payroll includes more than players. If it's divided between players, coaches, doctors, general staff etc....11 milli isn't that much scratch to go around.

Not saying it doesn't go directly to the players.

dont worry

the ufc can pretend they do that

70m from reebok to the fighters... my ass

all into the pockets of the fertittas and dana

and one of the biggest clue they were selling up yet some deluded fools tonight this meant the ufc was on the rise

I don't know the details but the first line definitely says players. The second line is averaging it $11 mill per team. I don't think every team will actually get the same amount of 11 mill.

Regardless of who else you add to payroll, they're still getting a cut of the 660 mill. No way the team earns 11 mill and keeps it entirely between off-field staff and the players don't demand a cut.

Most estimates have the fighters making anywhere from 10-15% of the total revenue in the UFC. When you have a big show with fighters who demand more money, I'd wager that gets closer to 20% (or maybe a little bit higher). It's shockingly low. You can look back to boxing in the early 20th century when gate was the primary revenue form and see that even back then about 50-70% of the revenue from the gate was coming straight back to the boxers. On most major boxing shows the fighters are making at least 50% of the total revenue (often much higher).

It's why WME was willing to pay so much for the UFC; it's a promoter's dream and basically a license to print money with how much the fighters get paid (especially with competent management, as ZUFFA seemed rather inefficient and wasteful, which WME has mostly rectified).

Do the fans at least get some stacked cards? I'm hearing UFC gets paid $100 mill per year from Fox. Are the cards worth the price they're being paid?

Do boxers have Performance Institute?

The match ups won't matter as long as it's on thursday night. Football isn't a sport where you can play again on four days of rest andexpect to preform well.

You idiots cant have it both ways

Screaming for fighter pay but bashing nate and conor for not fighting

The two guys who raised the bar

The UFC has shit they have to do with that money. They're not partners with these fucking guys. The Reebok deal has these guys rolling in it. Plus they get tax free backroom bonuses. But tell no one of this because
<{danayeah}>

Proof that higher fighter pay does not equal better/smarter athletes

Those NFl players do a lot of appearances,, how many appearances does an average fighter do in a year??

some don't even fight for more than 18 mths and demands one sixth of what Fox pays NFL..
