That doesn't say it goes to the players. It says it goes to the teams for payroll. Their payroll includes more than players. If it's divided between players, coaches, doctors, general staff etc....11 milli isn't that much scratch to go around.
Not saying it doesn't go directly to the players.
0%, they pay their fighters what they want.
Most estimates have the fighters making anywhere from 10-15% of the total revenue in the UFC. When you have a big show with fighters who demand more money, I'd wager that gets closer to 20% (or maybe a little bit higher). It's shockingly low. You can look back to boxing in the early 20th century when gate was the primary revenue form and see that even back then about 50-70% of the revenue from the gate was coming straight back to the boxers. On most major boxing shows the fighters are making at least 50% of the total revenue (often much higher).
It's why WME was willing to pay so much for the UFC; it's a promoter's dream and basically a license to print money with how much the fighters get paid (especially with competent management, as ZUFFA seemed rather inefficient and wasteful, which WME has mostly rectified).
The match ups won't matter as long as it's on thursday night. Football isn't a sport where you can play again on four days of rest andexpect to preform well.I really hope that they schedule some better match ups for TNF now that it is going to FOX at that price tag.
