so i met some broad who had some type of lymph-node cancer. she was 5'7 and went from 130lbs to 70lbs. trainers and nutritionists put her on some type of program and set her up with a weight-gainer drink which was pint-sized and had 5000 calories in it worth of "a bunch of stuff"

now i was sitting there just thinking what the fuck would be in that thing to have all those calories?

she also went on to say she could only drink it in incriments throughout the day as downing the whole thing in 1 go would be impossible

This sounds like a good start to an epic diet/supplement forum challenge thread.:icon_chee

Now we just need to figure out what she was drinking.

It's probably around the same consistency as mud...

anhydrous butter oil.

Anhydrous butterfat. Made by gently heating butter to break the emulsion, followed by centrifugation to remove the milk serum from the fat fraction. Butterfat content of the remaining butter oil is over 99 percent.

sounds like drawn butter to me.

Nutrition Facts and Analysis for Butter oil, anhydrous

1800 calories for 1 cup.

how about that to start with

There was a thread on here a few days ago about coconut oil. Apparently that stuff is like 2,000 calories per cup, and it's made up primarily of fat.

Allow me to clarify. I meant to say that the vast majority of the calories came from fat.

I just looked it up, though, and the calories are actually entirely from fat. For some reason I thought that, of the 2,000 calories, 200-220 were fat, 15 or so were protein, and another 15 or so were carbs.

You're right. My mistake.

What was the other 1750 calories?

so she was ingesting pure fat? straight to the arteries? heh

Russian Bear 5000 has 2600 cals in it and 184 g of protein. she might be drinking 2 of these of a day...

products like ensure and boost are sometimes given to sick people who need many calories.

these are identical to bodybuilding weight gainers.

they all have the same ingredients.

carbs from corn (maltodextrin, corn syrup).

fat from plants (canola, palm, sunflower, corn, mct...).

protein from milk and soy.

there is a drink called twocal that is used for people with weight gain issues sometimes.. TwoCal® HN (has 2 calories per mL)

to be honest, I've never heard of anything mass produced that has 5,000 calories in a single drink, maybe shes just drinking several weight gainer shakes?

The most likely explanation is that the 5000 figure is an exaggeration and wrong.
