Exactly. Even if both of these guys lose a bunch in a row I’ll still watch them

That's a good fight. I enjoy watching both these guys win or lose, no need to retire for them at all.

Interesting matchup. Perry has the size advantage but Pettis would still probably submit him.

    Pettis wins impressively
    Everybody thinks "he's back"

gets matched up with Colby because 'it's the old Pettis back'
    Gets brutally finished
    Everybody calls for his retirement.

    Repeat
    izz normal.

Fun fight, these guys always try to put on a show. The UFC can't have all winners, and can't just cut everyone who isn't in title contention or a top prospect

Keep the guys around who are dangerous and exciting fighters

Pettis was once a champion. He's also an exciting fighter.
Perry is one of the toughest dudes out there.

So, I disagree with the retirement part.

I agree. Bring back Chuck too. Champions should never retire.

How about instead both guys face one of the bums on the prelims and the loser gets cut? Name fighters should not retire, especially when they can beat most of the roster.

Sorry but i find it a bit sad to see these types of fighters put out to stud. That's why i say let them go out with one last blood bath!

    Winner continues fighting..
