If you become a fan of a fighter (or band) you will experience their glorious best and their absolute worst.

I'm asking you to pick a fighter and name their best fight and their worst. If you want to get really specific you can pick best round or best moment versus worst round or moment. I'd also love to hear your reasoning for each pick.....

Here I'll show you mine-

For Cerrone I'd say his Eddie Alvarez fight was his best. It showed his resilience, adaptability and fight IQ. In it he turns away an interloping viable top contender from a different organization that nobody was sure wouldn't steamroll him as the UFC gatekeeper. I liken it to the sublime U2 Live at Red Rocks: Under a Blood Red Sky, which is the equivalent of meeting your family and best mates for the perfect pint of Guinness at your favorite pub

And his worst would be the McGregor fight which showed he was completely cracked and that a few shoulder strikes could put him out on main street in Wobblytown. I liken this to Zooropa which is the equivalent of the toxic squirts I'd produce after a night of cheap tequila and taco bell.

Frankie Edgar second BJ fight was his best. Climbed the mountain a second time. He has many others but this one outshines them.

His loss to Ortega was the most painful. You could sense that he didn't have it anymore in him, but knew that he was too stubborn and will keep pushing

Fedor wrecking Big Nog from guard, and then Fedor getting countered and pounded from half guard by Bader.
Great Avatar- Fedor might be a legend here but he never took out Daffy, Elmer, Gossamer and Marvin Martian. In the Rabbit Hole Tavern Bugs drinks for free for life. Edit- plus i just found out Bugs is one of less than a 100 honorary Marines. He was named a Master Sargent for his work in Super-Rabbit. Sheesh talk about humble, you think you know the guy and yet he never mentions this?

Hendo at his best was when he beat Wand to gain his second belt. He had the KO with his left hand and used wrestling to wear Wand out and win rounds. It was before he really become one dimensional like he ended his career.

Worst was Cormier. My god I just wanted that to end. Most guys would have turtled and the fight would have been over in a few minutes, but Hendo just kept going getting tossed like a rag doll. Tough to watch.

In the Gomi fight picture, doesn't Joe look like he just transformed back to human after being some kind of giant white werewolf that disembowled his victim? Someone shoop some blood dripping from his chin and some innards spiling out of Gomi and send it to @jeskola please. Not that I like werewolves but flame throwing bears are a much more common menace where I live

Of course in the Johnson picture he is making the face of someone walking into the bathroom right after another one of my taco bell and tequilla benders has been off loaded.

Ha! I was going to go with Shavkat, but his absolute worst is still a win by finish.
that dosen't matter. best and worst can still be good. Hell I like some of Led Zep's Coda

Wanderlei Silva -best his second win vs Rampage. As a fight I love the Stann one too. Perfect retirement if it would have been so.

Worst - cant do much worse than vs Leben right?

Reverse of this would be Gus whose best fight is loss vs Jones. And second best is loss vs DC.

As for his worst fight pick your poison: Rumble or Smith at home in Sweden.

I'm starting to look forward to your threads. You're a funny guy lol.

This is an excellent post...outside the box thinking but completely 100% accurate. Bravo

That's a shame because this is my last one

Well, I can do Mirko then.
His best being that night when he murdered both Wand and Barnett (hard night for me because those three are my all time favourite fighters).
His worst being getting ko’d by Gonzaga’s high kick.
Oh well, at least I got to see him murder Gonzaga later as well. Not that it mattered much at that point.

I’ll go with Korean Zombie.
At his best he submitted Dustin Poirier with a d’arce choke in a war to determine the number one contender. Poirier was known for the darce and KZ put him to sleep with it and secured his title shot.

Worst was Volk. Fight should not have ever been sanctioned and he was thoroughly dominated and destroyed everywhere for an extended period of time. His toughness only made it worse for him in that one.

Given that I really like the guy I will go with Jan
His best fight was the one against Reyes where he took a guy who arguably beat Jones and not only knocked him out but dominated him well before that.

As far as his worst fight is concerned, first I wanted to go with his loss to Cummins but then I decided to choose his title loss against Teixeira where it seemed at times as if he did not care

Fedor vs Nog and vs Mirko
Beat them both at their own game.

Fedor vs Bigfoot...that shit straight up broke my heart.

Fedor fought Nog & Mirko at the same time, 2 against 1? What Fight Circus event was that in?

Cogar-
Best - wins title undefeated vs the great Dom Cruz

worst - got touched up badly by Kara France.
