Media Pantoja, top 5 flyweight for five years, had to drive for UberEats until two fights ago

Respect to Pantoja but it’s an opportunity not a career, hopefully he makes the best out of this so he no longer needs to drive Uber again.

UFC is the best promotion but these past few years, they’ve been blowing it on promoting a lot of their fighters.

They seem more focused on getting sponsorship deals done (Rock Shoes, Prime) rather then building up fighters that deserve it.

Remember when Dana couldn’t remember Islam’s name?
I guarantee Dana still doesn’t remember Pantoja’s name.

It´s not about deserve it or not dude.
 
Meanwhile Power Slap strikers like Austin "Turp Daddy Slim" Turpin were able to quit their job after 1 fight and focus on training full time.

Admittedly this is not a good look for the UFC. I fear Dana might not have as much control over fighter pay as we would like to think and hope this changes.
