Does Daukuas have any chance at all vs Blaydes?

His claim to being able to hang is his speed. That speed didn't seem to help a ton vs BB.

Now he faces Blaydes who has explosive power in his tds and once on the ground you are generally fucked.

I just dont see Chris stopping the td. If BB can cut off the cage to land bombs Blaydes can easily do the same and smesh him.

Speed doesn't matter when you are on your back.

Thoughts?

It's a pretty tough matchup for him but he has a chance. He has fast hands and he's a black belt in BJJ.

He will most likely get smashed though.

IMO the only thing going for him is Blaydes fight IQ. The guy has done some serious mistakes in fights that made it much more difficult for himself to get the win or in some cases made him lose some fights.
For example, the Derrick Lewis fight and doing one of the most telegraphed takedown while Lewis was clearly loading up the uppercut. This got him KO'd in a fight he was comfortably winning.

Daukaus is a good fighter, but he's being thrown to the wolves here. Blaydes is bad matchup and honestly he causes a lot of problems to most heavyweights in the top 15.
I got Blaydes by TKO/KO in round 2.

Maybe if he spams uppercuts and knees. If Blaydes gets him down, he's cooked.
